I do not have time to import 3rd party content I have purchased into my DnDBeyond.com homebrew. Does anyone have a script or service whereby I can import from the published PDFs of Kobold Press' Tome of Beasts and Creature Codex into my DnDBeyond.com homebrew account? I'm happy to pay a fair price and of course do so legitimately employing legal means.
Also, and I know this does not exist (yet). But would there be any way to offer access to my account (if say someone was willing to do this manually) that only gave access to certain parts of DnDBeyond (ie the homebrew section to create said monsters)?
Many Thanks,

NOTE: You will need to setup a zendesk account (which is not your DnDBeyond.com account, the team uses this 3rd party software). It's easy to do and your votes are needed!
Not sure what you mean by "import from the PDF." Are you asking someone to homebrew all the content for you? None of it could be made public, so you'd need to give someone access to your account. Which I believe is against the Terms of Service. Am I missing something here?

None of what you're asking is possible within the terms of use of D&D beyond, and like nor Kobold Press.
:( . I thought as much. However, would I not be able to private homebrew (never to publish of course and by myself) Kobold Press content I own within DnDBeyond.com ? Is there some specific language that prevents me from doing so?

You can create private home-brew based on the Kobold Press books you own without difficulty.
You could totally import the content you've bought for private homebrew usage, what you cannot do is:
Give someone the content you've bought on kobold press (I'm 90% this violates their terms of sale, you buy for your own use and don't distribute afterwards)
Ask someone to copy kobold press content into homebrew and make it public so you can access it
Grant someone access to your account so they can do the copying for you (this violates DDBs account policy)
What you can do is:
Copy in the content you've bought yourself on your account and use it privately
So now I'm wondering, could I say buy a script from someone that I would then run myself that would:
1) point to my paid content from Kobold Press (ie PDF file on my computer)
2) run on my computer and manipulate keyboard and mouse (while I'm logged into DnDBeyond.com)
3) proceed to run through and create the homebrew for private use (be reading the PDF, and writing to DnDBeyond via browser by taking over keyboard/mouse functions)?

I mean, I doubt such a script exists because the level of complexity entailed would probably mean manually copying the material over would be quicker. Also I think that would exist in a legal grey area with regards to scripting and automation of data input on DDB.
Makes sense. Well, I suppose I'll just wait and hope that DnDBeyond can get an agreement going with Kobold Press :) . I'd much rather just buy the books on DnDBeyond.com (even if that means buying it again).
Thanks!

Talks with 3rd party publishers has been on the table for a while. I think only someome such as BadEye would know the current status of the talks and what publishers they are talking with.

Nope, sorry - such scripts would inevitably be shared and we'd end up with everyone entering every book for free.
