Hello! I do not know where to put this request. But the current Homebrew Magic Item creator does not allow for modifications for Ki Points. I was hoping to craft some magic items that utilize or reset Ki Points for my monk. Please, please, please, if you can update the Homebrew Magic Item Creator to include Ki points into the modifiers subsection, that would be AMAZING!
Agreed. Ultimately I'd say this should be done for all core class features. Modifications to these would help create more specialized homebrew items. I know the core game wants to generalize the mechanics but as long as we have to option the create new items, the customization should reflect the utility a creator want.
Completely agree. Would be really handy. I’m also looking to create an item than can gift ki points the the wearer.
Ki points are kept track of using a single Action. None of the default Monk features that use Ki points automatically interact with this counter. Each time you use or regain Ki points, it's done manually. You would do the same thing with a homebrew item.
I play a Monk in a campaign and my DM gave me some snazzy belt that as a bonus action my PC can regain 1d4+1 Ki points, resets at dawn. I check off the 1 daily charge on the item and manually uncheck used points from the Ki points Action.
