I know this is a repeated subject, but has there been any updates about DNDBeyond making their own VTT? I've fallen in love with the website and the work they do; just haven't seen any recent updates about the goal and I know they've addressed it and said its a goal of theirs but where are they at with it?
As far as I'm aware, this won't come for a long time. I think we'd be looking at a year minimum but that is just a guess based on how long this kind of thing takes. The best/worst (depending on your personal view) thing about this website is that it has a lot of features, some being worked on as I type - you've got the Character Sheet overhaul, a new book being released that will have to be implemented, digital dice, combat tracker, encounter builder.... and that's not to mention if something else gets made by Wizards in the meantime that will then need to be implemented. Whilst the VTT is on the to-do list, I honestly wouldn't expect it for a while. Though I'd love to be wrong!

Many of the features that Lamoon1 mentioned as being new/worked on are elements of what will become their virtual gaming space. (DDB prefers not to use the term VTT, but I may not have their preferred term correct)
I think the better option is to partner with someone that has a solid project that is almost ready to launch for a Virtual Table Top (VTT) experience such as Bouncyrock Entertainment's TaleSpire. Why re-invent the wheel here use something with a better visual experience and get on this as a priority. Here is the link to their product: https://talespire.com/
