Seems like everything I want changed about the site is coming with the revamp of the site. So what I want is for everyone who will have worked towards its release to remain gainfully employed post-release.
Besides that, I would love to have more Valda's, Gunslinger, the rest of Steinhardt's, the future Griffon's Saddlebag release, Pointyhat books, Neon Odyssey from Legends of Avantris, Laserllama content, DMsGuild and DriveThruRPG integration, and generally more third party content.
I would personally love to see the new PalaeoGames title of Professor Primula's Portfolio of Palaeontology!! Knocked it out of the park with that book for sure!!
Easy. More Scene Prep for every adventure and module they have and will release. After experimenting with it for my own homebrew adventure and also the entire Witchlight Carnival from Wild Beyond the Witchlight, I am hooked. It makes adventure prep extremely easy and should honestly become a default feature of adventures and modules. It would reduce DM workload significantly.
I assume they mean on the search pages. You *can* filter by source, but only if you manually select each source you own, one by one from a drop down. Even then, it's no good if you've bought individual items a la carte. There's no simple "owned content" filter.
Hopefully this will be addressed in the long overdue search update they mentioned recently.
For the VTT Map -- Some of the monsters and mounts do not have default images -- and there's no way to add in art for a mount (short of creating a homebrew creature). It'd be great if we could add or customize the art on tokens.

This is coming very soon. I believe it's timed with the Custom Stickers and Token Art, that you'll be able to swap in custom art on existing tokens.
I use the DM notes for session planning, and get pretty frustrated at the lack of easy usage of it. I know that there is a lot of external session planning websites, and offline items, but since I pay for the use of D&D Beyond already, and it has all of the books that I have purchased (easily a couple of thousand dollars of virtual books) and my players characters are here, I would hope and expect a better interface for this page to not only make my job easier, but to keep me using your product. I also play table top, not VTT, so having notes that aren't attached to the VTT is vital to me.
Right now, you can dump in a bunch of text, and with a bit of work you can add hot links from the Encounter pages as well as monster pages, but it could be much better utilized to keep DM's on the site instead of us having to have multiple windows open on our screens to handle all of our planning
My suggestion would be to turn what is currently a text editor that creates a massively long scrolling page into a useful session building tool. Ideas that I have follow;
Edit Mode
Instead of having one long never ending scroll of text in the DM Notes, create a separate 'per session folder' that can be created for each session plan that the DM has in mind. The DM Notes can stay, but add either a full session builder page, or attach to the DM Notes the ability to have a side window that can pop out with the session plan. Some ideas that I have are below.
When the DM creates a new session, a new editor opens, giving him the tools to build just that session
Session could be tracked from a side or drop down menu from the Campaign page, or a 'tree' type of menu
Give the editor the ability to have a drop down or hot link menu to easily "drag and drop" encounters pages, embedding the basic info from the encounters page directly into the session window (having the encounter window show up with the quick synopsis that you get currently before you run the encounter would be helpful) This would give us a quick ability be running the session, then hop into the encounter and once done, have a 'return' button to go back to the session screen
As a separate note, once an encounter is in a session, on the encounters page place that encounter into session folder on the encounter page
Have the ability, per session, to add or remove players from that session (out of the campaign group) to account for absence or a drop in player.
Having the ability, once the session is done, to archive it so that it isn't constantly visible (this would also be useful for the Encounter page)
Gaming Mode
In the game play mode, I envision the abilty to have two columns being run at the same time, one with the DM notes and one with the session notes, with the ability to "open" the session to a full window. Other items are listed below:
On the left side of the screen, have a player list that is accessible (a floating menu), very much like what is currently available on the D&D Beyond VTT for DM's to make quick checks on their stats when needed
Digital dice for those inclined to use them
Initiative tracker, for those inclined to use it. Maybe these last two items could be toggled on or off depending on the DM
Have the session notes easily accessible to swap between sessions on the fly if the party screws up the DM's well laid plans. Maybe a drop down menu or file tree.
Have the "Run Encounter" buttons on the embedded encounter window open the encounter
Be able to add a creature to encounters on the fly when things are going too well for the players
I am sure that there are other items that would be useful in this and anything to make our DM jobs easier would help. However, while the current DM Notes page is lacking a lot of usability, putting too much into it would make it too much. While building a session planner attached to the DM Notes would be wonderful, remember the old adage, keep it simple.
Thanks.

Amen to this.

Filter to show only owned content so I don't have to slog through pages of crap I can't look at.
ALSO - Site wide dark mode. Please. My poor eyes get flash banged every time I open any page except my character sheets. :| BE NICE TO MY EYES.
There is a filter to only show owned content in the library. It's the one labeled OWNED

For me, it is a better DM Notes screen
