Reinforcing #5, I've bought books, but if the site is down for maintenance, my DOWNLOADED APP COPY is unreadable. I downloaded an offline copy for ... when the server is offline.

1 and 2 are a definite need. I used to buy piece meal as needed then at some point by the entire book when I had a little extra money.
The ability to snap tokens and objects to the grid in Maps.

Why? Why do the fools fly? Better to burn sooner than late, for burn we must. Go back to your bonfire! And I? I will go now to my pyre. To my pyre! No tomb for Denethor and Faramir. No tomb! No long slow sleep of death embalmed. We will burn like heathen kings before ever a ship sailed hither from the West. The West has failed. Go back and burn!
Reiterating something that I’ve wanted for years: pre-built encounters included with campaigns/adventures.
Basically, something as simple as a link when an encounter is reached that takes you to the encounter builder with the monsters already there, ready to go. All you need to do is add the PC’s, roll initiative and go.
Even if the links couldn’t be imbedded in the actual document, add an Appendix with the links (labeled of course so they’re easy to find.)
I’ve paid full-price for digital versions and having them integrated with DnD Beyond is an incentive. But it just feels like - similar to including maps for the map builder - ready made encounters should also be included.
If nothing else there are probably people who have already created these encounters in DnD Beyond when they run the campaigns and still have them saved. It would just be a matter of collecting them and making them accessible.
Sorry I meant like being able to make a stat block for an NPC, and being able to choose them for encounters and so on!
Have you tried creating them as a custom monster? You could create a copy of a commoner, adjust it a bit, give it a name and a picture, and he would be searchable and ready to insert into your encounter. I do this for various NPCs.
Can you please provide some magic items for firearms? Valda Spire has 2 that would be great to help out some gunslingers. You dropped the class but provided no magic items specific for the class. There is Khalidar's Iron and Peacemaker from VSoS that would be awesome to have. Also, can we get some magical ammunition that has the ability to do some damage? It is a pretty low key damage dealer especially at high levels. So have some great weapons would be a huge benefit. Maybe even if you just provided magical ammunition and a few weapons that had Jethro's Instant Reload spell permanent on it would be so much help. It would allow for the ability to use more attacks especially since most are wanting to keep the firearms at Renaissance level for their games.
Why Do People Constantly Shut Down Good Ideas Or Defend Them Not Being Added. I Don't Get It.
Because "good idea" is subjective.
The development time is limited, so cheering on every bad idea would cause a massive amount of confusion about what people actually want. If an idea is bad, or it's something that will take a massive amount of time away from good ideas, people should voice their opinion on it. This is a forum, not a wish list.
December input for "homebrew classes". Homebrewers have shown we can operate in the coding functions.
1. Fosters Creativity: Homebrew classes let players and DMs bring unique ideas to life, strengthening the community.
2. Streamlines Gameplay: we already use homebrew classes, but it's complicated over the most popular way to digitally play DND. Integrating homebrew classes would reduce reliance on manual tracking or third-party tools, enhancing the digital experience.
3. Proven Demand: Popular homebrew content like Matt Mercer’s Blood Hunter and the recent illrigger class proves players want these options, but to input our own designs.
4. Existing Framework: D&D Beyond already supports complex custom tools, making homebrew classes a logical next step.
Wotc discord mods hint that it's bad inherited beyond coding, and if that's the case, and current coders can't fix it. Out source it, unda NDA, if needed.
DND is game built on optional ruling decisions, let us tap into its full potential.
Just bumping the ability to make custom base classes.
Since maps is a thing now, it would be nice to be able to have multiple character images to work off of on the character sheet, such as ones that could be used as tokens and ones that look good as standalone portraits
Given how wotc loves to not announce changes both adding and removing things from the site, I'd say it is their fault and not the customers for not knowing it has been added.
Look at all the discourse about a toggle for the 24 rules for the better part of a year, they add it and say nothing.
Then there is the search function powered by wild magic, you can't expect people to use that to find things on this site, again on wotc not the customers.
There are many more things that further tip the scales, but given this thread is what it is and the likelihood of anyone that could implement the better suggestions made is extremely low why bother stomping someone's want? It has been made very clear we will get what we get when they want to give it.
Let the pipe dreams abound.

It would be really great if players within a campaign could have a give to other player when moving items so custom items didn't need to get rewritten
Personally, I'd like to see DMs have the ability to post notes and links on maps that players can't see.

I want them to add a marvel/dc themed campaign and character sheet. I feel it would the best combination for and d&d and comic book fan.
I would love to have a music player in Beyond Maps. Upload MP3s there.
That would be really cool, but i'm guessing there would probably be licensing concerns of some kind
Folders!
Since I have many characters, I would love to have easy access to my new characters while also having access to my older characters
Quite a number of them are also people not realisng the feature exists
