Given how wotc loves to not announce changes both adding and removing things from the site, I'd say it is their fault and not the customers for not knowing it has been added.
Look at all the discourse about a toggle for the 24 rules for the better part of a year, they add it and say nothing.
Then there is the search function powered by wild magic, you can't expect people to use that to find things on this site, again on wotc not the customers.
There are many more things that further tip the scales, but given this thread is what it is and the likelihood of anyone that could implement the better suggestions made is extremely low why bother stomping someone's want? It has been made very clear we will get what we get when they want to give it.

Let the pipe dreams abound.
There's a post that was on the front page when it was posted on June 13, linking directly to the toggle? They added it, posted about it, and put it in the change log. There was also a forum post about it.
To be fair, the changelog is pretty well hidden. If you don't happen to already know it's under the media tab for whatever reason, you're unlikely to come across it.
1) The ability to search and/or filter on existing monster properties. For example, I'd like to be able to select "Has spellcasting feature", or "Has False Appearance feature", or "Has Unusual Nature feature" to help me find monsters appropriate for a certain environment or encounter idea.
2) The ability to search and/or filter on a query or text, in both the statblock as well as the description of the monster. For example, I'd like to be able to enter "Dragon" in a searchbox, and find Kobolds because their description tells you those often hang around in dragon lairs.

I would love to have a music player in Beyond Maps. Upload MP3s there.

The best name for the mad gibber
That would be really cool, but i'm guessing there would probably be licensing concerns of some kind
The thread is titled "What do you want most in D&D Beyond" it is literally a wishlist thread.
Not all wants are feasible, but this is the place to post them regardless of how practical they are.
Folders!
Since I have many characters, I would love to have easy access to my new characters while also having access to my older characters
Quite a number of them are also people not realisng the feature exists

Don't you go ruining people's rage bait with actual facts now.

Happy to crucify them for real drama, and god knows there's enough, but I'm not going to crucify them for things they got right as well.

The changelog is accessible from every page on the site at the very top

I never realized that was there! I'm guessing I'm not the only one.
Now that I think about it, maybe they could add a small red tag to it like with the notification bell whenever the changelog is updated?
