You'll most likely need to use homebrew, but adding a cantrip is simple and people can walk you through it. Examples of not needing to use homebrew would be if you've picked up a feat like Magic Initiate, since that mechanism's part of the existing rules. Can you describe what you need in more detail?
Well mostly was hoping there was a toggle somewhere to open up the list for off stuff.
But for now I did figure out how to use the Homebrew based off Magic Initiate, just removed the lv1 spell thing and added the options for any class's cantrips
It depends on what exactly you mean. If you just want all Cantrips to be available for your character to choose from without adding any additional “Cantrips Known,” the easiest way would be as a homebrewed version of the subclass. Just use the original as a template to create a new subclass, copy/paste the descriptions from the original, and then add the spells to that subclass. For spontaneous casters (Bards, Rangers, Sorcerers, and Warlocks) you just have to add every Cantrip not on. Their normal list under “additional specific spells,” for prepared casters (Artificers, Clerics, Druids, Paladins) you would need to add them as an “additional spell list” as part of a class feature. I think you can do Wizards like the spontaneous casters, but you might have to do it the other way, I don’t remember. It will be a little more tedious than doing it as a feat, but as a feat you would have to add more “known cantrips” to the character increasing the total number they can learn.
Howdy
is there any way to add spells from off class to your sheet?
Or do you hae to try that homebrew thing and toggle on homebrew to allow it? Which i'm not sure how quite yet.
