I cannot seem to find notification settings in the app to control what kind of notifications I get in my notification bar.
From OS level I could block them all, but I'd rather have some of them enabled, so I'd prefer to select the desired notification types directly in the app.
Is this feature missing, or am I just unable to find it?
It is not currently possible to have Notification settings for the App different from your Notification settings for the website. The App is not intended to have the full functionality of the website, so stuff like that has to be managed on the website itself:
Unfortunately there were no setting to turn off notifications for the marketing stuff, but I unsubscribed from everything that was in "my notifications" section so maybe that will help :)
