Cheers. I checked everywhere and tried multiple times—even deleting and re-downloading the app—but still nothing. Weird. Luckily, I don't need it as much as my players do.
Thanks anyway. Appreciate the reply.
I just downloaded the app and it works perfectly and is so convenient for me to pull up my character stats. Great work!
I hope that adding descriptions to the features and traits section is also in this first wave of updates along with adding the missing sections as it’s also just as important as others I would say
Bard spells number still bugged. I have a lvl5 Bard, should have 4 spells lvl1, well indicated in slots list but can only select 3 :(( thank you to correct this.
You arent. My group almost immediately reverted back to using the website as the editibility, and on the fly look up of compendium links is essential. I hope that this will eventually beat the website but for now it's just not there feature wise. I'm happy that the list some of the features as being worked on. And that's good. I'll keep checking on it.
Could you send me the link to your character or its ID? We cannot reproduce this issue.
Hi quick question I know you said the 3D dice are an in progress feature at the moment I was wondering if that means it'll use the 3D dice you have enabled on the browser version? If so awesome added value to those cosmetics!
Hi ,
Here is the link of my caracter, really weird bugg about these 1st lvl spells, i should be able to pick 4 and can only pick 3 :(

Awesome, thanks. We'll investigate it.
Thanks!
We're analysing different options to meet your needs asap without losing much functionality. Thanks for this suggestion.
Hi ,
Regarding my Bard lvl, u can see in the 2 screenshot below that i should have 4 spells lvl 1. They are well indicated in the slots list but i can only pick 3 on Spells list lvl 1 and not 4 (as seen in second screen shot).
Now i hope it is clearer to investigate and fix this bugg happening on app and on the web interface.
Regards,
I just checked out your character sheet and it looks correct.
You have 3 level 1's, 3 level 2's, and 2 level 3's. This would be correct for your class and level. A level 5 bard has 8 known spells according to the PHB. You have 9 spell slots though for casting.
Hi,
OMG, Honestly LOL !!!!
It seems u dont even know ythe basics of the rules you work with... or BIG Bugg (and that's worst) on the website D&D,
Check Bard rules below on your own site DnDBeyond, u will see that Bard Lvl 5 got 4 spells lvl 1 and not 3 !!!!
https://www.dndbeyond.com/classes/bard >> The Bard TAble and
SO, now u got a BIG nice bugg to fix and before i wrote yto you and spent hours with back and forth I triple check about it.
Now, up to you to make a player/customer happy or getting bad reputation (that's the worst for a company like yours).
Regards,
I don't work for DDB. I'm just a fan trying to assist you.
Those are the spell slots that you are looking at listed in the table which is how many spell slots you get per level to cast. So you can cast 4 level 1 spells per long rest. The total number of spells you have equipped is the "Spells Known" which aren't limited by spell level. You can know more level 2/3 spells than level 1 if that's how you build the character. Below is the language taken from the PHB for Spells Known.
"Spells Known of 1st Level and Higher
You know four 1st-level spells of your choice from the bard spell list.
The Spells Known column of the Bard table shows when you learn more bard spells of your choice. Each of these spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots, as shown on the table. For instance, when you reach 3rd level in this class, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level.
Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the bard spells you know and replace it with another spell from the bard spell list, which also must be of a level for which you have spell slots."
As previously mentioned, your bard knows 8 spells and you have 8 spells on equipped on you character which is why it won't let you add any more.
This has gotten off topic though so I'll drop it after this.
You seen to be confusing a few things. A level 5 Bard
This information can all be found in the Bard Table
Looking at your character sheet, you have chosen to learn 3 spells of the first level, which lines up with Bard progression. The number of spell slots you have doesn't dictate what number of each level of spells you can learn, just the highest level spell you can learn
If you want to learn more 1st level spells, you will need to first remove the higher level spells you have learned

Hi,
You are confusing “spell slots” and “spells known.” Your character’s spell slots have absolutely nothing to do with the number of spells you know. Spell slots indicate how many spells of each level you can cast in any given day. Your number of spells known indicates how many spells your character knows regardless of level. As a 5th level bard you know 8 spells. They could all be 1st-level spells if you want them to be.

Hi all, Thank you for the clarification and all my apologies about confusion or misunderstanding.
Now it is clearer, i will adapt my sheet / list of spells in regards with the max spells known (8) that prevails above spell slots.
At least I got good answers, thank you all ;)

Please, for the love of the gods, tell me how am I to balance DnD with the family and my son's travel hockey? HALP!
Just finished my first session with the players using the Player App. It was great, but the ability to manage XP and equipment from in the app was problematic. Still had to maintain paper notes. I encourage you to move that up in your development plans. Thanks :-)
