I am interested in buying some new books (on either DDB or real) but I don't know what to get. I have icewind dale, tashas's , one grung above, players handbook, xanathars guide to everything, players handbook, explorers guide to wildemount and the dm's guide. I am probably gonna buy one adventure and one sourcebook but am just not sure what to get. Any suggestions.
Curse of Strahd (bleak horror, best antagonist ever) / Tomb of Annihilation (Indiana Jones pulp adventure romp) / Out of the Abyss (escape the Underdark survival) for the adventure; Volo's (monster lore) / Ravnica (city lore) for the sourcebook (Volo's if you want something more universally useful, Ravnica if you want to build a campaign of your own and sprawling city intrigue would feature heavily in that) . Those would be my recommendations.

Want to start playing but don't have anyone to play with? You can try these options: [link].
It all depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a set of shorter adventures instead of a longer campaign, Ghosts of Saltmarsh, Tales from the Yawning Portal, or the upcoming Candlekeep book would be good options. My son has both Yawning Portal and Saltmarsh, and he prefers Saltmarsh, I believe.
You’ve got what I consider the key player/character books (PHB, Xanathar’s, Tasha’s). If you want more monsters or more Monster Lord, I’d suggest Volos; for demon/devil stuff (plus a batch of other races, etc.) Mordekainen’s would be good. If you are interested in other settings, there is Theros (Greek mythology), Ravnica, and Eberron.
I like mordenkains a lot and am considering that. also theros is not greek mythology. it is greco-roman and from MTG. it is the birthplace of gideon jura
