Yurei’s a friend of mine, but that’s funny right there.
I honestly believe I'd have a lot of fun - actual, genuine D&D fun - playing with Yurei at my table, both as another player or as the DM myself. I really do. But these tales of woe and torment and being scarred for life by the big bad evil corporation, I guess I can't help getting a little snarky reading them.

If you really hate WotC that much, have you considered not playing D&D or other franchises owned by the company?
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
