so not really my "collection" but its what I bring with me to our office games. Old wooden box I got from an old Diablo III Press Kit thing, came in super handy
Those are the coolest looking dice I've ever seen. Would you mind sharing where you got them?
Both are right off amazon (nothing exciting I know) You looking for the metal ones or the red ones?

I guess it's probably more of a collector thing, but... do you guys regularly use most of your dice? This is all I have. Probably would do well to get a few extra, but if push comes to shove, I can just reroll some of them to get the required amount of dice. With the bad lighting, you probably can't see, but they're actually all blue except for the one clear d12.

Because it is my collection that supplies the dice to just about my entire table (there is usually a 5:1 ratio of my dice to somebody else's on the table during a session), a decently large portion of the collection does get used - but it's probably only about 20% overall, with a smaller slice for any given game system (we use all the d10s while playing Exalted or World of Darkness stuff, but very few of them otherwise, and only break out the "weird" dice like d30, d24, d16, d14, and d5 for DCC, for example).

Honestly... no.
I will admit to being a little weird in my dice superstitions. For each player character, I have a specific set of dice that I will only use for that character. For advantage/disadvantage, I use one of the "collector sets" I pointed out in my picture post, and those will get used for several different characters. For DMing, I use my loose dice and/or sets for characters that have been retired or killed off. I know that none of this should actually make a difference, but to me it feels like it does. Which means I currently own dice that I probably won't use for years to come.
And still, this morning, I'm looking at 140 dice in 20 complete sets for $30 on Amazon and going "Well..."

Nothing wrong with that, IMO.
The table of players I first gamed with (Pathfinder) were all seriously superstitious about their dice, the DM included. Nobody was allowed to touch any other persons dice for any reason (even if to retrieve a rogue roller) and they would use pencils to move other peoples dice around the table. I mean they would seriously get upset if someone else touched their dice.
I never worried about such things myself, but I get where they are coming from.

I use pretty much all of mine regularly, but not at one sitting. I have different sets I keep in different bags and take to different games. That said, as a DM, I do use 5-6 sets of dice at a time - mostly for damage rolls.

I definitely do. I choose them at random when I roll, so some get more use than others as a result (my ugly off-brand d20 gets no use due to consistently rolling so low and the fact that I regret buying them and just hate their look all together). I'm not too superstitious about dice either, but if I roll low on one too many times, I definitely put it away for the rest of the game.

Amazon: Dwarven Metal Dice
I've had my eyes on these for a few years, but I've never quite managed to pull the trigger on the $$$:
Thorn Dice (Shapeways)
I do stuff, sometimes.
I have a pretty clear color scheme happening :D

Thanks to all for the info on the metal dice.
BTW, is there a way to post pics to this thread without using another account of some sort?

I have dice going back to the ones from the D&D basic set in the red box, where you have to use a wax crayon to colour in the numbers on each face!
Most recently though, I bought some Luma dice and they're pretty awesome! :)

These are the dice I have been DM'ing with lately... along with their 'guardian' of sorts!
I know... I need to get more. Hahaha
How do you want to do this?
Nice much better than my collection, any dice made from Mammoth Ebony?
