Dnd beyond does have a series of automatic checks to see if homebrew is approvable. I don't know all of it checks for but I know it checks for similarity to official or UA content and external links.

Basically this, but they will scan newly approved homebrew for other issues and may modify them after they are published. This happened with me: I created and published several SCP creatures with their ID number in the name. The creatures were initially approved, but within a few days their names were changed to remove the number from the name.
