Weird question but my google-foo has failed me. Is there anywhere that lists prices for generic furniture. Someone wants to purchase beds, curtains, chairs, wardrobes, pots and pans etc.
Officially? No. Unofficially: plenty of places, like this one (actually a compilation of sources from previous editions) for instance.
All such prices are for pretty much run of the mill, utilitarian items a not too clumsy apprentice might be churning out though. If it's just about furnishing a house with anything that might be expected to be present, I'd just put a grand total on it depending on the number of rooms (or a percentage of the value of the house itself, maybe 5% or so, and for that you get furnishings that match the style and possible grandeur of your abode, but nothing in the way of art pieces or anything outside furnishings) and call it a day. You do you though.

I use 1960ish USD of 10¢ = 1cp ($1 = 1sp; $10 = 1gp, $100 = 1pp) and use 1960ish furniture prices. You can find catalogues from the 1960s online, like these:
So, for example, that “complete 7 piece living room set” in the middle would be just shy of 18gp (17g;9s;8cp)

Cheers, I didn't think I had seen anything official. I will just assign an overall amount. Thanks
