they release all books at midnight hour of their time zone which I actually believe is tonight but I am not sure if the time zone changed for the servers, when they had the takeover by fandom.
When does it come out? I thought it was the 26th. but it's midnight in the UK and I don't have access to the book?
Can someone let me know when and at what time we actually get the book instead of a date?
To be fair, it's an American product on an American website. So, it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that the release will be on an American schedule.
They don't promise a midnight release or any specific time, just the 26th, so it can be any time this day. So, for us in the UK we should be expecting a release anytime between 5 am 26th and 8:59 am 27th (since the time zone difference can vary between 5 hours (Eastern) to 9 hours (Pacific), and the release could be anytime between midnight to 11:59 pm their time.
It'll happen when it happens.

My point is they should tell us when we should get it. like Midnight PST
And what if a last minute issue delays it? Just triggering so many complaints. Ah, but not specifying and just doing your best? Much less complaints - yours being the only one I've seen in like 3 years.

So basically you don't want them to be transparent. got it
This ain't transparency, this just be your impatience.
They be releasing on 26th, American time. All I need. Why you need more for an entirely optional, unnecessary, book release baffles my mind but you do you.

Heya, we've openly discussed this on these forums, over on our discord, on Twitter/Facebook, and on the Dev Update stream.
We aim to release a little after midnight local time in Huntsville, so about 6am in the UK.
That's the same for every book, but sometimes the deployment process can take longer than others, depending on a number of factors. I don't recall us being more than an extra two hours tops.

To be fair, there is a "precisely when does the [new book] come out" thread with every release I've seen since I've joined DDB. And every release I forget whether it's PST or EST. It's a fair ask, but I'd say it's a coin toss across all media providers whether "drop date" is that specific.

Pacific Time, so about 8 hours
She/Her Player and Dungeon Master
I wish they would let people know this.

It no longer says 'Coming Soon' under the name, yet it has not arrived. I am mildly inconvenienced!

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
It's up now.
For me it shows up as purchased and browsable on the website, but not in Fandom's app even as a preorder. Not sure what's going on there.
The app always updates a few hours later than the website. They listed in the feedback section of the forums
