I have a friend who wants to join my campaign as an Artificer, however, I do not own the content to share with him to create the class and o have offered to get it because I am the DM for the campaign. If I purchase just the “Artificer” from the Marketplace and have a Master Tier subscription, am I allowed to share just that content with my players or do I need to purchase the whole book Tasha’s Cauldron for it to be shareable? I hope this makes sense.
If you want just the artificer class, then you only need to purchase the class, you do not need to purchase the whole book. However, if you want optional class features too for other classes, you will need to purchase the entire book.
Specifically, you'll need to purchase at least 1 Artificer subclass to get access to the Artificer class. If your friend already knows which artificer specialty they want, then that simplifies the purchase.

If anyone else in the campaign has the Artificer unlocked, and you activate content sharing with a Master Tier subscription, then it will be shared. All content that has been purchased by anyone in the campaign will be shared with everyone in that campaign.

He wants to play the Alchemist subclass of an Artificer. So does that mean I can share it with my friend if I purchase the Alchemist subclass? Thanks!
Yes, it does. Have fun!
Want to start playing but don't have anyone to play with? You can try these options: [link].
