I am trying to make a homebrew sword that should look like this: Damage: 1d8 Damage Type: Slashing Weapon Type: Shortsword Properties: Finesse
I've read the tutorial and tried everything I could think of but I still can't put all of these things together. Could some please explain to me how is it done or if it's even possible?

I don't think this is currently possible. Unfortunately, weapon properties like finesse, (and damage types like slashing) are not accessible in the homebrew magic items tools. I don't even know if it's on the roadmap to add. It's been raised several times, but I don't remember any staff saying anything about including it. It would be a good question to ask during March's developer update. Maybe I can remember to do so....
Unfortunately properties like Finesse and damage amount/type can't be changed from the base weapon currently. However if you base your item on the Rapier, everything will be correct except the damage type.
I still fail to understand why this isn't possible. It seems essential to crafting homebrew weapon variants, but there must be some weird technical stuff behind it that makes it much harder to do than seems apparent. Hopefully, it will be doable eventually.
Or just make a magical longsword that has finesse. Call it a mithril longsword.
As far as I know there's no way to apply finesse or any other modifier to a weapon, it only gets what the base weapon had.
The sunblade is basically a longsword that has the finesse property. I'm suggesting using something like that.
As far as I know this cannot be replicated with homebrew tools, if it even works for that weapon (forum searches suggest it does not).
Actually, using the sunsword as the template, you can meet all but one of Trpaslik's criteria: you can't set weapon type to shortsword and keep the 1d8 damage modifier.
But using the sunsword as a template uncovered something interesting: There is a "Weapon property" modifier, and you can access it if you make a copy of the sunsword, but it doesn't show up as an option if you copy a magic item where this property isn't one of the pre-defined modifiers.
Brass knuckles, or knuckledusters, are pieces of metal shaped to fit around the knuckles. Designed to preserve and concentrate a punch's force by directing it toward a harder and smaller contact area, they result in increased tissue disruption, including an increased likelihood of fracturing the victim's bones on impact. The extended and rounded palm grip also spreads across the attacker's palm the counter-force that would otherwise be absorbed primarily by the attacker's fingers, reducing the likelihood of damage to the attacker's fingers.
Variant. A knuckleduster deals damage equal to your unarmed damage + 1. This is normally 2 bludgeoning damage. Care should be taken if you allow this variant with monks as it will ultimately deal more damage than other monk weapons.

I wan't to make a homebrew weapon but I can't make any homebrew weapons and I don't know if its on purpose or if its a bug in the system.

Basic homebrew weapon are not a thing yet, but they should be coming in the near future (no ETA still).
For the time being, you could use a club as a workaround, changing the name in the character sheet and adding a note explaining the "hidden" property.
