Maybe this has been brought up, but has anybody heard if DnDBeyond if planning on creating a fillable animal companion sheet on the site as well? It would nice to have that option to link it to your rangers stats so they cross over and auto-fill where necessary as well as just having the option to track and edit your pets advancements and abilities as well.

There's going to be a section of the revamped character sheet especially for this. Check out the preview of the character sheet that we saw here, halfway through the latest developer update. It's an overall look at the character sheet but we get a glimpse of where companions will be included.
Would this include anything outside of a statblock and inventory?
I expect it will include plenty of customisation options, in the same way that the rest of the character sheet does, but it's not ready yet, so that's just an educated guess.
Any word on the this yet? I just got a mastiff and i'd like to be able to track him on here as well. Plus, he's carrying my stuff so he should have a separate inventory from my own.
During the July developer's update, animal companions were on the "Upcoming" list, meaning developing (coding) hadn't started yet, but is expected to be one of the next things to be worked on when those features currently being developed/coded are finished.
The only play I've ever seen a list (although it's not organized as 1, 2, 3, etc.) is shown/discussed in the monthly developer's previews. September's is available here. The list of things is at about the 33 minute mark. But, the creatures feature was released yesterday or the day before. So it's live now.

It is planned. Furthermore, it is expected to be part of the deluxe character sheet revamp, which is expected "sometime this quarter".

It's live as of a day or two ago. Still being worked on to figure out the bugs and the like, but it is live.
