The second picture is more than just flipped, it's quite different. Foe example, in the first picture, it journey (assuming that's what it is) shows "jou" and then the "r" is obscured by the change in direction of the crystal's surface, but in the second one, it shows "journe" with rhe "y" partially obscured. Similar with "radiant", in the first it gets to "the rad" but in the second it reads the whole thing with the "t" being partially obscured.

Nerd Immersion said there was supposed to be a press briefing today to have the press ready for some sort of announcement Monday. I'm guessing this is either a stay tuned tease, or they'll continue teasing things till Monday.
As for the image, while not "classic ruby" it is a red crystal, and if you go by the lore suggested in Fizban's about the prime material plane basically being Sardior, might be some sort of planespellscapejammer thing, focusing on some sort of interplanar marketplace.
Mahadi's Wandering Emporium of Everything, follow-up to Xanathar's and Tasha's? Not normally located on the Ethereal Plane though, at least not Mahadi's (that'd be Avernus). I wouldn't be surprised by another "... of Everything" offering at any rate, even if it'd be a year early compared to the 3 years between the first two installments, and something focusing on items and Weird Stuff probably wouldn't be affected too much by the 2024 overhaul. Otherwise, possibly another adventure anthology along the lines of Candlekeep Mysteries.

Yeah I thought the Wandering E,mporium for the "bazaar" vibe given off in some of the images in the crystal. But given Mahadi is pretty hellbound, some sort of extraplanar marketplace seems to be evoked.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
My guess is that it will be a sourcebook for a magical inter-planar marketplace, with some adventure hooks for a broad level range, and stat blocks for NPCs, but will also include a ton of new magic items and weird items. That will mean it appeals to those that like source books, but if they put in a ton of magic items it makes it a must-have buy for DMs.
Cute animals and happy people doing shopping seems to be the notable theme. I guess that Witchlight went down well.
The "[into the]" is my own insertion that makes sense in context, but I do not see the actual words clearly enough to justify it being included without this disclaimer.
Anyone with more experience in D&D recognise the term "radiant citadel"?

That weird creature looks like a chihuahua with bat wings, which is kind of similar to the Lhee from Spelljammer, which can be practically any dog but are specifically noted as having chihuahua variants in the older books.

So, I seem to remember WotC saying they'd revisit 3 classic settings and introduce a new one. I'm not sure if the Ravenloft book was one of them, but we did have that and it looks like we're getting Spelljammer and Dragonlance, which makes me wonder if this might be hinting towards something new...
So, I seem to remember WotC saying they'd revisit 3 classic settings and introduce a new one.
This is kind of accurate, but not exactly.
What was said is that this year (2022) they would release 2 classic setting books (presumably Spelljammer and Dragonlance) in formats that we've never seen before (something like an Adventure Anthology). Then, next year, they'll be releasing another one (probably Dark Sun or Planescape, but it could be Greyhawk).
Then, they also said that they were working on two completely new D&D settings that have never appeared in any form before (so, they're not Magic: the Gathering settings, thankfully), as well as making a new setting book for a setting that has already appeared in D&D 5e. They haven't given any information on what these settings are like, when these books would be released, or what format we would get the settings in. It has also been stated that any (or even all) of the three might be dropped, so we would never see them.
So, 2 Classic ones this year and another next year, with a revisited setting and two completely new ones sometime after those (if they ever come out). The revisited setting is likely to be the Forgotten Realms, but it could also be Exandria, Eberron, Ravenloft, or even Greyhawk (if you count Saltmarsh as being a setting that could be "revisted" in a future product).
I'm not sure if the Ravenloft book was one of them, but we did have that and it looks like we're getting Spelljammer and Dragonlance, which makes me wonder if this might be hinting towards something new...
The Ravenloft book was released before we got this news, so it doesn't count against the total "classic campaign settings" that we'll be getting in the near future.

I don't know why people think the title of all things would be reflected in that gem. I mean, if the title were reflected on D&D books, we would have seen it in ID: RotF and in GoS to say the least - and we don't. No; I think it's a neon bar sign, and the crystal is something like a Planar Crystal as seen in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything: In other words, I feel like this is Spelljammer. This has the words Spelljammer written in black permanent marker all over it.
And before you suggest the cover page was hidden "inside the gem" and that the gem isn't on the cover at all, also no. I'd like to point out that WotC would have removed the book title entirely, not just done a shabby job of blurring it. No, this is smarter than that.
AND second edit, the font in the gem is all wrong. Not even blurring would make it that cursive! There's no way that that is the cover page reflected.
I'm hoping for Planescape, but I'm pretty sure that travel between Material Planes is related to the Ethereal, so I think it's a Material.
Maybe the Great Bazaar in the City of Brass on the Elemental Plane of Fire? That would be accessible thru the Ethereal Plane and would account for the red color of the crystal.
OTOH an alternate Material Plane could be fascinating…
I've hacked the formula, and have determined the announced product will be: An Adventure book that takes what Rime of the Frostmaiden did with the Crystal Shard, and do it with The Halfling Gem. Salvatore's done their work in retconning the Drow and he wants some residuals from older properties now.
So level 1-13 adventure set in Amn or Calasthar (I forget) with extensive rules on sand and desert mirages and dual wielding fighting back to to back with your Frenemy.
Really just floating it to see who'd recognize the deep cut, but if there's a panther in that red crystaline haze, I actually may be onto something.

Ironically, my first thoughts were of the Crystal Shard, only from when Jarlaxle went a little screwy with it. A mini adventure to overthrow the wielder of the Shard and destroy it or put it somewhere it can't do further harm. Desert themed stuff as mentioned above, as it's the same setting and part of the novel involves a trek to the desert.

It definitely looks like some kind of market square. The middle seems to be some sort of potion stall. What could that animal in the upper portion be?
Only spilt the party if you see something shiny.
Ariendela Sneakerson, Half-elf Rogue (8); Harmony Wolfsbane, Tiefling Bard (10); Agnomally, Gnomish Sorcerer (3); Breeze, Tabaxi Monk (8); Grace, Dragonborn Barbarian (7); DM, Homebrew- The Sequestered Lands/Underwater Explorers; Candlekeep
Good catch.
Edit: The flipped image matches the Gif I see on Facebook. The first image I posted is from Instagram.
