I wanna move my centaur character from a paper character sheet to here but I don't own any special content. Is there a way I can make a character on here that like doesn't have a race or something and I can just manually add the centaurs traits or something? I'm thinking probably not but I would like to keep my characters in one place and I thought it would be worth asking.
You can homebrew the race and other details. You're just not allowed to publish it - but it's fine for personal use.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
First you need to make the race, which is not part of character creation. From the megamenu, hover over 'Collections,' then on the left in the Homebrew section, select 'create race.' I suggest using a race you already have access to as a base so you don't have to do everything from scratch. Then swap out the features for the race you want to create. Once you've created the race (saving every step of the way) it still will probably take a bit to get the homebrew to propagate up the servers to be visible in the character builder, but once it is, you just make sure the homebrew tab is on/red/right in the preferences for the character you're creating, and you should be good to go.
To be honest, while you can recreate the centaur race from scratch, if you’re not familiar with the content builder it will probably just be more effective and efficient to simply spend the $2 to purchase that race as a stand alone. It’ll pro’ly cost you waa—aay more than $2 worth of your time to recreate it from scratch.
This might be stating the obvious, but just in case you do decide to homebrew the centaur, once it's saved you will need to go into the character creation tool and under the "Character Preferences" option make sure that the "Homebrew Content" is turned on under the Sources options. (It is not turned on by default.)
yeah thanks. i wasnt aware that i could just buy the races i thought i had to buy the whole book but i was wandering the website and found out that i could just buy the races so i might go ahead and do that soon.
i think ill probably just get all the races from that book cause there are a bunch in there i wanna play at some point and buying them all for $10 is cheaper than buying them individually
Note that if you buy content from a book (but not the entire book) like has been suggested, then whatever you spend will be discounted on the whole book. So, MotM is $29.99, then if you pay $9.99 for the races, the whole book will then become $20.00 to buy the rest of it. You'll only ever spend $29.99 on the book.

How might one go about homebrew in the character creator on here.

Yeah, for $2, it’s worth it unless you already intend to learn how to homebrew properly.

29.99 isn't to bad I guess.
