Hey all! This is my first post here and I am curious as to what the plans are (if any) by D&DBeyond for home brewing classes or class archetypes. Has anyone heard about plans for this in the future or are we only going to be able to do backgrounds, races, spells, etc... I have players who really love some of the home-brews I have created or borrowed. Thanks for any help in this :)

Subclasses (archetypes) are planned. Classes are not, but the developers have expressed a willingness to consider adding certain popular classes, like Matt Mercer's blood hunter.

Homebrew subclasses (also called archetypes) are planned, and coming "soon" (i.e. presumably sometime this year). The staff have been very clear that homebrew classes are NOT planned. What they have said is that they may consider adding popular homebrew/third party classes; if so, that work would be done by staff. They have, for example, already done that with Matt Mercer's blood hunter class.

Thank you! I appreciate the quick responses. Good to know about archetypes rather than classes themselves.
