They're all under their tables, waiting for the tremors to stop.
Jokes aside, I think their content schedule is unchanged, although possibly they're delaying publication a bit. If they think any product would be less succesful if published today, yes, they'd wait until tomorrow.

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.
Were they pumping out books? We Dragonlance in November...then was it Spelljammer in August. January of this year we had the Tyranny of Dragons update and the next book due out is Keys from the Golden Vault which wasn't due out until the end of this month at the latest (was the news prior to OGL) but we still don't have a date for when it's due. I'd say it's delayed, but that's nothing new.anyway.
There's nothing odd compared to the previous 6 months or so, really. Springtime last year we had a flurry of releases...but there's time for that still. I seem to remember this was planned to be a slow year anyway. We've got Bigby's, Phandelver and Planescape after KftGV, and that's it.
I'm not sure there's any data really to work with. If one or both of KftGV or Bigby's hasn't released, by June, then we can talk about it. Before then, there's just nothing out of the ordinary for WotC.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
With the spectre of OneDND on the horizon I can’t imagine a plethora of new books this year.
They've still got books planned out to Q4 2024 (Planescape!).
I am dreading he release of Planescape for this edition. If Spelljammer is any indication of what Planescape is gonna be they may as well not even bother. I use to play Planescape and I don’t want to see it ruined.
They may not be hyping up the upcoming books as much, but the release of them still seems like a normal schedule to me. Excited to see a Phandelver Adventure, lots of nostalgia from being there in LMoP & Icepire Peak as they were 1st few D&D games.
Well, that's short notice...KftGV is being put up for preorders now and it's being released Tuesday?

weird..WotC and Amazon both have the 21st. DNDB digital version reads the 7th.
Digital available 2 weeks early? that's new.
Things like that are happening more and more. Dragonlance had the staggered release for the formats and Spelljammer released a month earlier in the US than the UK (and presumably elsewhere).
I'm not liking this change, and hoped it'd die. It seems not.

My issue with the rehashing of classic material is that it's simply not being done with the intent to compete with the originals which is absolutely what they should be doing. Spelljammer and Dragonlance were both very meh. I don't know if it's because they have to 5e'afy-it or if they are modernizing it to modern community tastes, but neither of these books were even remotely close to the source material. They missed the mark by a mile so I don't expect anything at all from Planescape.
This sucks because actually initially they were nailing it. I mean Curse and Ghosts... were both great. So I don't know what happened.

Spelljammer wasn't about taste...it was just plain laziness and money grab. They counted on people getting excited about the old setting and just put out a token set. Dunno about Dragonlance, never bought it.
I've never even heard about Curse and Ghosts...I don't think that's a WotC 5e book?

Duh....of course. Thanks.

Sorry I was paraphrasing the titles. I was referring to Curse of Strahd and Ghosts of Saltmarsh. Both were remakes of original titles, in the case of Curse, it was a remake of the classic Ravenloft and Ghosts of Saltmarshes was a remake of the Ux series that started with The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh.
My point was that both of those were remakes/reimagining and they were both great. Both had real heart and commitment to the original source material and even though they were different they both had a quality of their own because the people that made it obviously read and loved the originals, it was done with heart and as a tribute to fandom.
Spelljammer was as you say... a chance to leverage the logo and nostalgia but the people that made it clearly never played or loved Spelljammer and the same is true about Dragonlance... neither of these books were written by people who had a fondness for the source material.. they were technical conversions to squeeze out some money out of nostalgic fans.

No problem!
(Ironically, I've heard people complain about both of those books too, so YMMV, apparently...🤷♂️)
