I purchased the SFG Animal adventures - Secrets of Gullet Cove so I can play it with my daughter(Now age 9). I have been creating a campaign for her as she is really into the story telling side and absolutely loves dogs.
Since starting to make this campaign, I have joined a DnD group, again after a number of years, and they have showed me this wonderful resource.
I would like all of them to make characters on DnD Beyond, however the animal adventures is not available on here.
How would I go about either asking it to be added or start adding it myself?
You can homebrew anything from the book such as backgrounds, feats, magic items, monsters, races, spells, and subclasses. You cannot publish these to dndbeyond's community homebrew as you are not the original author, but all private homebrew is automatically shared with all players in any of your campaigns.
I had not heard of Animal Adventures before this post, so I looked it up.
I do not believe that Steamforged Games is associated with Hasbro or Wizards of the Coast, so I would assume that they are not planning on porting this into D&D Beyond as they are VERY busy with other development currently with the Anniversary this year.
You cannot Homebrew Classes, so adding in the Classes from AA would not work, but as Mairondil stated, you can Homebrew anything else you want from the game.
Cheers!

Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.
Animal Adventures publisher is what is called in D&D a 3rd Party Press. Until very recently, with great exception, 3rd Party press content was not officially produced or made available on D&D Beyond; but as Mairondil explained, many D&D Beyond users use the homebrew tools to build personal DDB resources for their games as private homebrew. There's a whole subforum on this board with people willing to show you how to do that.
3rd Party Presses have begun to show up on D&D Beyond's marketplace, but for that to happen their needs to be an agreement between WotC (D&D's official "owners") and Steamforged Games to do so. It could happen, but I wouldn't wait for it to happen, there is an immense 3rd Party Market.
If you liked Animal Adventures more advanced rules relying on the D&D core rulebooks more than the Animal Adventures Starter Set, you may want to check out Humblewood by Hit Point Press. It's a D&D setting where the player species consist of "Humblefolk" (humanoid woodland creatures based on raccoons, deer, foxes, etc) and "Birdfolk" (same concept but birds) who have a very rich world that's both cute furry animals but also politics and environmental threats.

I created all the stuff from Dragon Stew to use in some games I've played, among other 3PP books. Heck, I had added all of Tal Dorei Campaign Settings Reborn before they brought it to DDB.
Yep, I did the same with Humblewood. It's not always the easiest set of tools to intuit, but the homebrew tools benefit from the DDB user community more than willing to help folks learn the ropes. Sometimes I just brew up 3rd party stuff as a rainy day pastime.

Thanks heaps all, I guess I am running a paper based campain.
Dumb question: What does an animal adventure look like? Is it the same as playing a monster? You would play a bear, owl or lion?
It is a source book that allows you to play as an awakened Cat or Dog. You can look up Animal Adventures or Dungeons and Doggies.
