The main reason to use this is to add character sheets of characters I have created for the pen and paper style onto a tablet which is a better way of doing this as I have had a few problems with pen (pencil) and paper. The problems I have been happening is losing the space to add stuff (I am thinking that the Beyond character sheets will expand automatically as more and more is written?), with the amount of rubbing out of information some of my sheets have holes in them, and it all looks a mess in finding particular information.
I play two characters, a wizard and a ranger and they have just reached level 6 today. Is it possible to add these characters keeping the same stats and information on Beyond character sheets?
I play both characters in each game session, can I swap between them when playing each character using D&D Beyond?
You should be able to re-create them, but you first need to own the correct materials. While the base classes are free as part of the basic rules, you'll likely need to purchase the subclasses. You can either buy the whole book in which the subclass appears, or buy each subclass individually. If you do buy them individually, then later buy the whole book, the price of the whole will be discounted by the amount you spent on the part.
Also, if you have any feats or magic items, you'll need to buy those, that is, the books they are in.
Or, if someone in your group has a master tier subscription, you can turn on content sharing, so if someone else owns the materials, you can use them for free, basically borrowing the other person's book.
A free alternative is to use the homebrew tool to homebrew any of these -- subclass, feats, item. But it can be a lot of work.
And yes, you should be able to play both at the same time, just by having two tabs open in your browser and flipping back and forth between them,
None of my characters have sub classes. I just thought I'd ask for the future. Anyways I have seen subclasses that are from basic rules and I will just be using the ones from there if I need to.
Can you give me some examples of the subclasses I would have to buy?
Any of the subclasses in here are free: (https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/basic-rules/classes). Anything else you would need to purchase, there are at minimum 4+ subclasses to purchase for each class, for some classes 11+ subclasses available for purchase.
If your classes are level 6, they should have subclasses. Such as a hunter ranger, or school of evocation wizard. Your wizard would have chosen theirs at level 2 and your ranger at 3.
Unless, are you playing 5e? Or an earlier edition? This site only supports 5e.
I actually was wrong when I said I seen some subclasses in basic rules as I was looking at races. I might be wrong but are subclasses only used in homebrew games which is something I wont be bothering with anyway
How do I find people to play with? I need an invite but can’t find a place to go to look for open invites. I just made a character and can’t find anyone. lol. I haven’t played since 4th addition and new to 5E but I have the books etc and I’m an experienced player for 35 years. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

What do you mean "buy subclasses"? Do you mean buy the players handbook? What if the DM I play with owns the physical copy?
You need to buy whichever book the subclasses you play are in. Or just buy the specific subclass. What are your subclasses?
Owning the hard copy doesn’t transfer. Just like owning a book doesn’t get you the kindle version for free.

Ah. I see. Then yes I would have to get beast master and evocation wizard subclasses. Where would i buy these within site?
School of Evocation I did not have to pay for but Beast master I tried to buy but my card was declined but I do not know why.
So if I cannot buy the subclass then its goodbye D&D Beyond and will have to try an alternative
If you find yourself spending 20% of the book cost or more for individual thing, it might be better to just buy the book.
