Because information is required from you that is not essential to getting the gift, this is not technically free. In at least some states, requiring this information could be "consideration," which is a fancy term for "having to provide something in return" whether that is time, money, or effort... or information considered valuable.
In addition to this preventing people like me from getting these "free gifts" because we will not give them "consideration," they may well be opening themselves up to a class action lawsuit for everyone living in a state where the information counts as such.
I can't claim any of these "gifts;" can't and won't.
Can't because I have no payment information to give them. Yes, in this, the 21st, century, I am completely incapable of making online purchases, even "free" ones.
Won't because they have absolutely no reason to need this information to give me my digital "gifts," and I do not see anything valuable enough to exchange for this information.
Well, they're still advertising it on the site and saying it ends today...but it's returning a null result when I click on the banner. I was going to pick up two dice sets that I didn't have, but couldn't yesterday and now I can't. Oh well.

I just checked my email from yesterday and I see this email saying that yesterday was the last day to get my free gifts. I went back thru my old emails, I don't have any other notifications for this "Claim your free gifts" 12 days of whatever the heck. I don't normally miss this stuff, so the fact I didn't get anything for this holiday giveaway because I haven't logged in for a week or missed a days worth of emails, really makes me mad. When I was logged in last, Saturday (the 7th) there was no indication from the main page that any kind of even was even happening. If they don't want to give away free stuff, or make us jump thru hoops to claim free things, maybe they should just keep it to themselves. Like they did with this event! Truly shameful behavior!
12 days of Christmas ends on the 15th, makes total sense.
This years gifts sucked, there was only a few things I hadn't got for free from the subscription as it was, and due to the lack of proper communication did not get a chance to claim the last couple items. Oh well, time to cancel my subscription I guess, as I am finding myself more and more disappointed in this site.
Only today saw someone has posted to Reddit about this “12 days of D&D”. Went to try and check it out but got the ‘page is missing maybe this ooze ate it’ screen.
I got pretty excited when I heard there was a spelljammer book in the lot. Kinda shocked the giveaway is over though. Typically ’12 days of…’ during this time of year will line up either ending on Christmas Day itself, or will start the day after Christmas and last until January 6th. The fact it apparently ended yesterday is really… random.
It would have been one thing if I had received a bunch of fliers/emails/adverts/etc letting me know the event was going on. But it seems like there was barely any fanfare for the giveaway.
It's neither, they completely messed up in the way others mess up "anniversary" titles. No, your wedding day is not your first anniversary. 12 days of Christmas is obviously the twelve days leading to it and advent is literally the 25 leading to it so... either way they were wrong.
Plus, the person you replied to was very snotty, especially seeing as they decided to take that upon themselves when it wasn't directed at them. The complaint is the lack of communication and improper setup for the event, both of which are completely founded statements. That and the fact they skipped several days for no reason just to throw multiple stuff up on one day. That person just wanted to feel superior. The way some people can act superior when they don't make any sense themselves, good grief!
Typical D&D nonsense. They could let the christmas free bees last until Christmas. Meanwhile Kobold Press and Hit Point Press are giving stuff for free.

They dont keep your payment information on file unless you tel them to, and even then they do not have access to it, it is saved with their payment processor, so you are not giving them anything. and yes it is FREE, meaning you are not paying anything for it.
am I supposed to get an email about this because I did not
I don't think so, I haven't noticed one about it, but they have been advertising it on Facebook and Instagram

"Bought" the Yule Dice and have no access to it. Did I get scammed?

Thanks DnDBeyond, I love being left out.
Well, it's gone now.

I wanted the yule dice since it was the only thing I didn't already had but because of timezone shenanigans, it was first too early and then too late.
If anybody whose got doubles would happen to have a gift code, I would really like.

I said practically the same thing.
Am I losing my mind or did a significant section of this post disappear? Just curious.
