Everyone having issues with the dumb way they want you to get free content now:
This Thread still has a few good links among the posts for stuff like the free adventures that uses the better way that won't need your card or paypal. Some of the stuff like dice or whatever show expired, but I got the adventure links to work, though I had already claimed them long ago.

Pretty Underwhelming. So far I was only able to claim one of the items they are giving away for Christmas this year -- because they had already given away all of the others in the past. And for all I know, the one item I got (one of the sets digital dice) was given away before for free and I just missed it at the time.
Is there a way to take one of these adventures and create a campaign from it?
The short answer is yes, considering many of these adventures are just the first chapters of (or introductions to) actual published adventure books, unless you mean campaign to mean something different that what it usually means.

I live in Canada and I can't get the "Free" gifts because my shipping address is outside the US for "free" digital items? Who's brilliant idea was it to give away free stuff by having to go through the complete ordering process including using your credit card for a $0 purchase? How about going to the tried and true form of clicking "Claim" like has been done in the past? WOTC once again proves their incompetence. They can't even get giving away their stuff for free right.
Check that a province is selected. For some reason everytime i have to edit my saved address and choose a province otherwise it does not work although only 2 of the gifts so far have been new and not already owned.

I mean can you create a campaign in the app from an adventure? Only the few campaigns I own are able to be created as a campaign, in app. Most likely I would use them out of the app with my kids, but would like the digital option.

My gut says probably not, since I don't have faith that the trimmed versions of these free give-aways were coded with that in mind. However, someone who actually uses the Beyond app could check and let you know.

Seriously. Why in the name of all that is common sense are we having to go through the entire purchase process for something that is $0.00? Paypal doesn't allow purchases of $0.00 so getting through the process is an unmitigated pain in the backside. Categorically the dumbest design decision ever.

Uh-oh. I just used Paypal to get the free dice I didn't already have. Confirmation email says they should be available on the site already, but they're not showing up in my Collection. Entitlements have been synched, and they're listed in my Licenses. Marketplace says order is "placed". Not sure what else I need to do. Wait, or contact support?
EDIT: Figures, they now show up as soon as I finished typing...

Having the same issue here... with the fun extra bonus that apparently it's broken the "checkout" feature entirely after trying to re-load the page.
Anyone have the link to get these? I had a notification i clicked and then it crashed and i sure can't find it again lol thanks!
You can just go to the Marketplace, there is a big banner at the top of the page.

Much that once was is lost. Objects in Mirror Image are closer than they appear. All the world's indeed a stage, and we are merely players, performers and portrayers...
I got it to work: it seems that the site doesn't properly store addresses (why they are needed for "shipping" a digital good is beyond me); when reaching the shipping tab, you'll have to open the "update address" option and fill in the missing field(s); for Canadians that's Province apparently... Then also re-enter payment details... For a free item... Yeah; this was not implemented well.
Also; double-check if you already own an item (you will have to go to its page on the marketplace directly to do this); that might also be causing the site to bug out.

Thanks for your help. I was thinking that was the case. I can just use them old school style.
It is odd that for free gifts, it's still prompting for the requirement of a credit card. Some folks may not want their credit card information stored online (with the frequency in which sites seem to get hacked and information compromised). Steam, for example, doesn't require a credit card info for their weekly free software give aways. Would be nice if we could have that here as well.

Disappointed in how many of these ‘gifts’ I already own. 90%?
Doesnt feel very good.
Maybe consider a blend of existing things to give away free and more ‘new’ items so those of us that already purchased feel appreciated as well.

Clearly you don't know how the 12 Days of Christmas works.
It has nothing to do with advent calendars

Doubtful. Giveaways are usialy not good, especially from a company willing to sell your info (at least from what I heard)
Make spell points happen, like point buy. Make it an option for spell points/slots.
Largely everything they are offering was a free, preorder, or monthly perk, the only exception was Radiant Citadel.
Feels like they are just emptying the closet rather than gifting anything to the community.
Edit: Radiant Citadel is just the first chapter - ugh.
Just FYI Kobold Press is giving away free books too. They don’t ask for credit card info at check out. Just saying.
