This seems very unlikely. Renegade previously made a game for Exodus (a new IP Wizards is trying to launch) with a similarly modified 5e system and it was not included here. It would be surprising if they treated GI Joe or Transformers differently.
So, while theoretically possible, I would not bet on it. The math on this probably might change when Beyond rebuilds their backend systems, if that makes it easier to implement things like new classes, alternate rules, and such, but I still would be surprised to see any of these added.
Here is an article about it for those needing to catch up. Renegade didn’t see numbers that made them feel confident in the engine (Essence 20), so are moving GIJoe, Power Rangers and Transformers to the biggest system in the biz.
It can understand the change of strategy but I doubt seriously this new edition could be totally compatible with D&D 5.5. or even among them. For example Transfomer PCs are huge or large size when we play with medium or smal size PCs, and the firearms alter the power balance.
I would say this d20 system will be more like a 5R edition (R of revised) and the intention is to allow more licences, for example Fortnite. This 5R could be for a new edition of "Gamma World" with special sourcebooks for reimagination of other franchises (Visionaries, Robotix, M.A.S.K.... even Prety Cure!).
I don't like the milestones for leveling-up because I feel "syndrome of impostor", too automatic. I would rather a XP reward like the Storytelling system by White Wolf-Onyx Path. I wanted to feel I did enough merits and efforts to earn it instead like automatic farming.
One automatic point only for the survival and the end of game.
One point: Learning: the character or player learns something, for example a discovered secret.
One - three points: Right Roleplaying (coherence and drama)
One heroism: you risk yourself to save others.
One point: Completed Quest. When the PCs save the day. Not only survival but also victory.
One point: Danger (one each encounter).
One point: Wisdow. (when you use your brain to fix some problem or trouble).
With these "storytelling points" you can spend it to "unlock slots" in a separate talent tree. Like this the PC doesn't become more powerful, maybe more versatile and knows more things, like a new languange.
I am not kidding and I say it seriously. Maybe if Renegade Games has got enough trusts they could dare to publish a d20 version of World of Darkness and Chornicles of Darkness. My suggestions are "Mage: the Ascension", "Changeling: the Dreaming" from WoD and "Beast: the Primal from CoD (because they are the easiest options to be combined with D&D).

The original Exodus was publish by WoTC, while Renegade Exodus isn't out until August

Which is unfortunate because D&D's rules really aren't conductive of a wide variety of game styles.

"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

Yeah, I wasn’t sure how to feel about that. I just bought a friend the JOE starter set as a birthday gift too.
With Renegade announcing 2nd editions of GI Joe and Transformers using the 5.5e rules can we please get them on DDB? I would love that so much.

GI Joe’s tactical military style mixed with Transformers’ larger-than-life sci-fi could make for some cool storytelling and mechanics.
