The problem I’m having is that when I try to cast Ice Knife on discord, details of the spell show up, but not the ability to actually cast it. I play a level three sorcerer and ice knife is one of my chosen spells. I’ve updated my sheet on D & D Beyond, and everything else works. I’ve taken a long rest as well, so I know that is not it.
Perhaps seek answers on a discord site? Try a help command in Discord? Try asking other users in the channel you are using or messaging the bot with the help?
D&D Beyond is not related or affiliated with Discord in any way whatsoever. It's very strange you're asking here about a completely different site/service.

I suggest referring to the admin of the discord server, or whoever wrote the discord bot that you're using.
