Mezro and Chult are locations cited in the novel The Ring of Winter. As it happens, the Ring of Winter is an artefact cited in Storm King's Thunder, adventure which says (somewhere) that the Ring of Winter will be critical on a "future adventure". Mmmm...
In the Jungles of Chult they ride dinosaurs, hmmm...
I was hoping it wasn't Chult for a greedy reason. LoL I had worked up a pretty cool DM Guild adventure that I've not released yet and hoped to jump the gun on the market.
I think it looks a lot like the trade ports of Chult as well. Port Nyranzaru looks... Just as described here in that art.
Plus a lot of 4e's treatment of Chult kept a big portion of the fan base wanting more.
Chult is also where they suggest DM's plop down the The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan adventure in the Yawning Portal book.
EDIT: Here's what's being listed as "known" over at EN World:
According to R.A. Salvatore's latest Drizzt book, Hero, Acererak and his Tomb are now located in Chult (a region of the Forgotten Realms). In Hero, the main villain reveals that Acererak is distributing mirrors with green-devil frames in order to harvest souls throughout Faerun.
The next adventure path will feature Artus Cimber and the Ring of Winter, as revealed in Storm King's Thunder. Chris Perkins confirmed in a tweet that Artus and the Ring would feature in a 2017 product. Artus, coincidentally, first appeared in a Forgotten Realms novel set in Chult. The last Acquisitions, Inc. game, hosted by Chris Perkins, ended with the party being guided to Chult. In answer to one of the party's questions, an Oracle told them to "Look for a lost city in a distant land. Let the children of Ubtao guide you." In the current storyline, something called the "soulmonger" is trapping souls (much like Acererak). "The evil that is trapping souls is drawing life from those who have been raised from the dead. They too will be consumed. The soulmonger must be destroyed."
Maps of Chult were recently uploaded to the Adventurers League media folder.
In the city of Mezro (in Chult), "Small dinosaurs are not uncommon in the city, as they are often used for beasts of burden and as mounts by some of Mezro's more adventurous folk" (The Jungles of Chult, p. 12). That could very well be Mezro in the teaser image.
Sadly I'd be less enthusiastic about an adventure specifically for the forgotten realms. Granted I'm not really enthusiastic about the campaign long adventures to begin with.
Would Chult also fit the bill in the interviews from Mearls that indicate that the eastern-style options previewed in UA were related to the upcoming story line they're very excited about? I don't know a lot about the Realms.

If any of you have the dungeonology book, the one with the mind flayer on the front, in the back there is a small booklet called volo's guide to the forgotten realms and on the inside is small reference to chult and a small piece of art that is very similar to the teaser art in the video. The art in the booklet shows a street with dinosaurs. Chris perkins has said over and over that the books in 5e, like the core books and other products they have released, has easter eggs in them about the upcoming storylines, and I believe this is an example of what Chris is saying. In the small reference in the dungeonology book it talks about Port Nyanzaru, a place of trade and ran by wealthy merchant princes. Port Nyanzaru is a major coastal settlement of Chult's.
Interesting things I see:

I'm at work so I can't have the sound on right now....why are there people riding dinosaurs in the first art they show?
No....why are they riding dinosaurs? Like, is this a setting thing?
They didn't say in the video. We have to wait and find out.
Care to post up the highlights of the talk then? Pretty please? It's going to be hours before I can actually listen to what was said.
Ok, since you said please ;-). Basically the video is an interview with Greg Tito:
1) They will present a new storyline.
2) It is a great, long adventure that Chris Perkins has been writing for years. (seems really a huge adventure).
3) More or less what will happens in the Stream of Annihilation (groups participating, DDB....stuff we already know I guess).
Neat. I look forward to getting my own raptor mount.....
In the Jungles of Chult they ride dinosaurs, hmmm...
Right you are. My bet is Mezro.

I thought there wasn't much of anything left of Mezro post-Spell Plague?
