how do i purchase classses? i cant figure that out
To purchase subclasses, you have to know which subclasses you want and in which book it comes from. Once you figure out what you want and which book a particular subclass is from, hover your mouse over <Marketplace> at the top menu bar and click on <Store>. Once you are on the <Marketplace> page, search for the book where the subclass is from, click on on the book, and scroll down until you see the option to purchase a subclass.
I kinda don't understand the entire class being locked behind a paywall. With the other classes, it's just subclasses and that's understandable. But with Artificer, the entire class is locked because all of the subclasses are. I can guess that it has to do with the small amount of subclasses currently made for it, and that it isn't from the basic rules. But this is an ENTIRE class that has to be bought.

A class from a supplemental sourcebook, rather than one from the PHB. That's the difference.

I am in the position the thread creator was in, I am looking at the content of the Eberron: Rising for the Last War and i cant find any options for purchasing subclasses.
As of now I can see options to purchase, Magic Items, Monsters, Races and subraces.

Thank you! I figured it out, it's because I bought the compendium only, that doesn't include character builder. I just paid the $10 to add the rest of the book and it's all set now. Thank you for your suggestions!
Hi! What if I already have tasha's cauldron of everything in real life and I want that content on dnd beyond, Is there anyway of showing that I have the book so I can get exclusive content on dnd beyond without actually having to purchase the book again online?

No. Fandom, owner of D&D Beyond, and WotC, owner of D&D, are different companies. Buying product from one (usually) doesn't entitle you to products or credit from the other.

Hi!
I'm looking to pick up just the Artificer from E:RftLW. (Not interested in the rest of the content.)
There's no option to purchase the base class, just the subclasses. Does purchasing a subclass unlock the base class?
Thanks!
Yes, it does!

I'm glad I found this thread, thank you!
This is great! I've been wanting to get the Artificer class ever since I heard about it. Every day I fall more and more in love with this website :)

Has that option been moved or removed? Thanks
With the release of Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, the Artificer class (and it's subclasses) became core D&D, rather than specific to Eberron.
As such, the team has relocated them to Tasha's, if you wish to purchase any of the subclasses.

Alright thank you Stormknight!
I purchased Tasha's compendium but I still do not see artificer as an option when I am creating a new character, am I doing something wrong?
You may need to turn on Eberron content in the builder.

I tried that and unfortunately it still isn't coming up on the class page, i have everything on except Rick and Morty...
Do you have the other things from Tasha’s? Can you create an Aberrant Mind sorcerer, for instance?
