Hopefully this is an easy question and I have just overlooked somethings, but I am a little confused about content sharing. From what I remember you were allowed to share content with up to 12 people, and this was managed through a campaign that you setup. With that being said it looks like if a "person" is running 2 characters in a single campaign, it shows up as 2 people in your campaign? So are both characters claiming 2 people worth of my sharing abilities, or is 1 person only being consumed since the 2 characters are from the same account?
Also looking at the tier subscription breakdown it says something a little different and specifies that you can have 3 campaigns, up to 12 people per campaign. Again similar question on the terminology here since the idea of "people" and "character" seem to be blurred. Are the campaign's limited to a max of 12 "characters" meaning that as the GM I cannot organize or group up my NPCs inside of that campaign, or is it limited to 12 "people" accounts?
Any clarity would help as I start to organize a few things for my players.
With a Master Level subscription, you can nominate up to 3 campaigns in which you participate (either as a player or DM) to have content sharing enabled. This means that any content purchased by other participants in that campaign (yourself included) are shared amongst the group.
With regards character vs player - a campaign allows for up to 12 other characters to added, using the content that is shared.
In real terms, say you have purchased the PHB and Master subscription and then create a campaign for your D&D group. Each CHARACTER that is added to the campaign can utilise content from the PHB to create the character. In addition, any PLAYERS who own those characters are able to peruse the PHB in the compendium.
So, yes, you could have 6 players, each with 2 characters and that campaign would be full.
Okay that helps out, the definition of people vs. characters was where I was confused since the two terms were used differently. Sounds like the initial thought I had with 12 characters being the limited is actually better since you can have 3 full campaigns! :)
Relating to my following question about keeping NPCs organized since GMs can have different NPCs for different campaigns, i suspect that is more of a campaign manager future request, since a DM adding a character to a campaign would consume a slot in the 12?
Sorry to be a noob on this, but I've scoured the forums & can't find what I'm after about sharing the digital campaigns I purchase.
I've bought the Tales from the Yawning Portal digital package, and I can't see how to get it into the campaign manager and then invite players into the campaign? Do I just have to make an empty campaign to invite them, and then read the campaign to them from the Compendium-> adventures tab or am I missing how to access it as a campaign? And do the players in the empty campaign in the manager now see the yawning portal digital content in their compendium?

To invite players, you need to create a campaign in "My Content" section. Then, the campaign page will provide you with a link to share with your players. The players will take the link and upload their characters on the campaign page.
The campaign page is not strictly tied to any of your adventures modules.
The players will be able to see the module only and if only one of you have enabled the content sharing via Master Tier subscription.
My group is thinking about purchasing Master Tier. We have two different campaigns running with two different dungeon masters. Is it possible for the two Dungeon Masters to each use a Campaign 'slot' and share their campaign content with their players, but each keep some private campaign-related materials? The dungeon masters want to keep some campaign info on Beyond secret from the players, including the other Dungeon Master.

Right now, it is not possible to be selective about what material is shared with the players. However, the staff is pretty positive that this will be a thing.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Is it possible for two Dungeon Masters to each manage their own campaign on Beyond, or is one player's account always the Dungeon Master account?

No, there is no distinction of account between "player" and "DM". A user can create a campaign and run it as the DM and, at the same time, join another campaign as a player.

That sounds like it would require both DMs to each purchase all of the books on Beyond to share with the players in their respective campaigns. Or can any player in a campaign share with the rest of the players?

Anyone in that campaign can enable the sharing. If you are a player with the Master Tier, you can enable the sharing. Moreover, the sharing includes all the purchased book from ALL the players and the DM in that campaign. SO, in the end, the DM can even not purchase anything to run the game.
Does anyone know if I can link my D&D beyond and DMsguild.com accounts or if I have dm's content on my computer how I can upload to be used on D&D beyond?

The is not possible. Depending on what you mean by "DM content", though, you might be able to homebrew it here.
To enable the sharing of purchased content, one member of the campaign (player or DM) must have a paid subscription, more specifically the Master Tier subscription. With the Master Tier, one can enable the sharing up to a maximum of 3 campaign slots.

Hi guys,
Just want to add/ask further clarification to the content sharing by asking my own question.
Does one have to have a paid subscription to share content?
I know its basic of basic questions but I'm not able to find answers. Thanks in advance!

It's also worth noting that you don't need a subscription at all to share your own homebrew within a campaign.
