while using DDB I often shrink the screens to half size so i can see more at one time. They did a nifty thing and allowed you to switch to mobile mode when the screen size fits it which is really handy.
While using this feature I turned it off once and was actually sad I could not figure out where it was in settings to re-enable it. Eventually I discovered the source, at the very bottom of the page (and yes I mean the absolute bottom) is the button to go back to mobile view.
I figured someone else may have had this issue and would like to know the solution.

OMG, trying to figure this out i lost my character last night. a team of six all going back and forth to get me back but trying to get me mobile...this morning I stumble on your page...THANK YOU!!!
Hmmm...not on my iPad running iOS 9 it's not. I wonder why that is?
It's showing on my iphone 7 - have checked my iPad 2 also (like yours, on iOS 9.xx) and it does not show the button. Indeed, the screen is buggy (the sidebar won't go away, none of the info that should be at the bottom of the page shows)

Badeye commented in another thread that the desktop version option isn't supposed to be there, and using it will result in an unpleasant experience with the sheet.
So to get desktop on the android it's right on the right top three lines pull down menu --- so easily accessible!
BUT get out of Desktop mode, you have to go all the way to your home page. No easy access, End Users' nightmare!
Click the D&D Beyond icon on your left top corner to take you back HOME.
Scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN to the end of the page past the copywrite/privacy policy. There will be a bar the size of the page horizontally and in very tiny, itsy, bitsy letters it will say Mobile View. Click it and you are now back to Mobile.

Unfortunately that button doesn't appear on iPad 2's as they are running iOS 9.xx - the sheet is really borked in desktop mode (you get the sheet, some corrupted menus and an ever-present side-bar, NOTHING below the sheet)
To get out of desktop view, the only way I have found is to delete the site cookies in chrome (I assume the same for Safari and other browsers)

Thanks, that last line just made this new sheet playable for me
I believe that the only tablet that supports the desktop view at the moment is the 12.5” iPad Pro as it is one of the few devices with a true 1200pixel width.
BadEye has stated that they are looking into ways they can improve the mobile experience( with two separate possible changes - swiping to change screens and a modified desktop view) however there is no timescale on either option at this time. As he is on his first vacation for over a year, do not expect an update (from him) before next Monday
I thought I'd posted this but must be in another thread. There's a browser in the iOS app store called 'Desktop Browser' that works. You'll have to use the browser plus mode which has 10 free uses and then you pay a couple of bucks, but you'll be able to see if you like it. It's not perfect but does the job well enough. All functionality is there. Can't say for Android.
You can go into your browser settings. Click on sight settings. Go down to data storage. Find the link for dndbeyond.com and click delete. Youll be signed out. Make sure all your data is saved to the sight. (Homebrews are saved). Just sign back in and it fixes mobile if you accidentally signed into desktop view.

Thanks very much, I was looking for this literally for hours!
This could be made much clearer.

With the revamp, I don't find that option. Did you find it? Where?

For the iPad, just slide the side bar off with your finger. I found it rather intuituive. But it is different than on my MacBook.
Although I can’t speak to an IPad 2, and IOS 9x.
Is there a way to switch in the new character character sheet. I like desktop view much better than mobile. Thanks.

Thanks. I’ll try it.
So it appears they fixed this with the last small update! I can now see the desktop view on my iPad! Very cool!
