Dropping in as a Bard/Sorcerer Multiclass and I'm in a bit of a conundrum at the moment.
At Level 9 (1 Sorcerer "Divine Soul" with 8 Lore Bard) it's come time to pick another ASI or Feat. At Level 4, I picked up Resilient (WIS) and my current stats sit at. 8 STR, 16 DEX, 14 CON, 8 INT, 13 WIS, 16 CHA
I'm weighing the options of increasing my CHA with an ASI or going with a feat like Ritual Caster. Previously having a Wizard in the party, the party had access to Find Familiar and Rary's Telepathic Bond, both of which were relevant. Our DM doesn't actively punish the party for splitting up when the need arises, but having the extra eyes and ears has come in handy when exploring a catacomb in small groups.
The party Composition is GOOlock, Blasty Wild Magic Sorcerer, Crown Paladin, Shadow Monk, BattleMaster Fighter, Assassin Rogue, Myself and another player who's class I don't know yet. (My Combat Role is most likely going to be Support and Control.)
Being as it's my first time playing as a Bard, I was wondering what you all thought about the overall impact of having Maxed or Increased my CHA to get more Inspirations by now. VS Being prepared for WIS saving throws, having Find Familiar and Rary's ready to go.
+2 CHA would be more beneficial at this point for more Bardic Inspirations and to increase Spell Save DC for your spells since, presumably, you'll be more focused on 'Save or Suck' control spells.

Bards can already cast spells as rituals as part of their class in case you were unaware of that. All you need to do is learn those spells, and with a Lore Bard, that’s easy to do.
I would max out Cha ASAP. It will raise your Spell Save DC, your Spell Attack Bonus, your number of Inspirations, and your Cha ability checks which are bread and butter for Bards.
As a Bard, Dex is your “good save.” Having a decent Wis save isn’t bad, but it also isn’t the most important thing. As long as you have one of Dex/Wis/Con, you should be fine.
As of right now, there are a couple options still to go with since it hasn't started quite yet.
Would you say that taking Bard as the "Base" Class instead of Sorcerer to get DEX and CHA saves and then get Resilient CON instead of Resilient WIS would be better?
Using my Level 4 and Level 12 ASIs to boost the Charisma up to 18 and 20?
IMHO, Con would be a more useful save than Wis, but only because of Concentration spells. And the traditional wisdom is that maxing our main stat is always best.
But that doesn’t mean that it will produce a Character that YOU want to play.
Yeah, the idea with Resilient WIS was taking Sorcerer as the "Base" to get CON and CHA saves but then Wisdom in case of a nasty Will Save. (As Will saves tend to be.)
While taking Bard as the "Base" would merely shift the 'third' Save from WIS to DEX thanks to the feat.
So either way I want to make sure I get CON saves since Bard has a lot of concentration spells in their spell list and that's likely what I'll be doing.
I think the Ritual Caster is helpful, but spells like Rary's don't feel like they'll be worth a Magical Secret considering some of the other options like Bigby's Hand.
Other Magical Secret choices at the moment are things like: -Sleet Storm (My character has an icy theme to them.) -Counterspell (Designated Counterspeller considering that our Warlock has better things to be doing with their slots and Sorcerer is Blasty) -Bigby's or Wall of Force -Cone of Cold
