I'm playing a magical girl who is mostly physical with access to sorcerer spells with warlock spell slots. Does anyone have any good ideas about multiclassing that could make me less squishy? I get a great bonus for no armor so that's out sadly and I use a two handed weapon.
I've seen a couple takes on Magical Girls that use Paladins as a base, which honestly makes a lot of sense to me. Even if you choose to go without armor, you'll still have a pretty good hit die, some healing, and access to fighting styles with a 2-level dip: you could go GWM for that two-handed weapon. You'd also get access to spells like Shield of Faith, which will up your AC (but does take your concentration).
nah nah nah. half elf Dex based sorcadin. 2 pal/4 sorcerer/ 6 pal/X sorcerer. go draconic bloodline for unarmored defense and more HP. harder to pull off at low levels, but a monster at high levels.

Thanks for the tips guys. I think I might go for warlock since I can get the shield spell and bring back spell points on a short rest. I don't have the strength to multiclass into paladin ether sadly.

Monk would be inline with the semi-anime theme.

I would say use the latest version of VoyuerTheNinja's masked hero homebrew, it is well balanced halfcaster martial built to be a sentai/ magical girl
Mystic v3 should be official, nuff said.
Is there a link to the magic girl you’re talking about? Just curious.

If homebrew is an option and you don't mind being a complete and shameless weeb, I can direct you to the Henshin Hero class on DM's Guild.
thanks!
