We should be able to Print out sheets in case we go to a table to access a paper copy, since no matter how technological advanced we get nothing beats a paper copy of your sheet you can take notes and Gm's can make alterations to that sheet to accept a character to their game.

Easy lay back guy, 48 year old with 36 years experience in role playing, dnd i started back in Basic when monks hands were considered silver weapons lol, played 3.5, attempted 4 but i felt it was to much like a video game so stopped, now i hear great things for dnd 5E so here and I want to join a few games :)
The character sheet produced by this method is substandard at best. DNDBeyond needs to give us more options for this, or allow us a method to design our own sheet.

Isn't it the standard wizards sheet? Or has something changed since I last used the feature?
May I ask why your players are not simply using the digital character sheet on Dndbeyond?
Not an issue ATM, but when I played at a local game store before COVID, they didn't let customers use the wifi and I didn't want to burn the data. (Haven't had a chance to test the app char sheet in a game since everything I do is remote still)

We use digital sheets when we play online, but some of the old time players prefer a printed sheet when we play in person. That's as far as my players go... I've been in groups before though where the DM forbids electronics at the table, because they distract people from the game. Which is true. I've also had players look up monsters they encounter getting info they shouldn't get, which would be another reason someone might ban electronics at the table. Personally, I've solved that problem, just by telling them not to do that.

It print version may or may not be the standard Wizards sheet. I just know it's not very good and players have a hard time locating information.
