I just brought eldritch adept and only that because that's what I need for a character but I cant seem to find the eldritch adept non warlock at all in the feats list
I have the whole of Tashas and there is a single "eldritch adept" feat for warlocks and non warlock spell casters (note you need to be a spell caster or warlock to get the feat add the effect manually home brew the effect. The same applies if I give a warlock the feat, I can not choose another invocation I have to add the chosen invocation manually.
The eldritch adept feat is currently only a placeholder: The system currently cannot correctly model Eldritch adapt properly without breaking the character sheets. It's on the list to fix. For the time being, you will need to decide which invocation you want to use and homebrew something that will add it to the sheet; or put it in the notes.
Given all that though, if you bought it, it should show up, although I'm not sure what you mean by "eldritch adept non warlock." Given that you just bought the feat, it may just need a bit of time to sync up. I am apart of a campaign and the host has all the books so on that character I can see everything and since that character is a spell caster I can take the eldritch adept feat. but there should be a second feat called eldritch adept non warlock for those who take the feat without being a warlock it will allow to pick one invocation but for some reason I don't have the non warlock one so I cant pick a invocation.
I also thought that it might be because I just brought the feat but the feat shows on my list just not the non warlock one that I need.

its weird because I have it on that character but I cant get it on my own that is not apart of his campaign
In theory the feat is universal. Making a nonwarlock version of it would be redundant because nonwarlocks can already get it. It just isn't programmed within the system correctly yet.

Thank you for the explanation, but I note that Tasha's does not list two different Eldritch Adept feats, one for warlocks and one for non warlocks. It is one feat, available to any character with the pact magic or spellcasting feat. There is a limitation related to eldritch invocations with pre-requisites (those can only be chosen by warlocks with the feat).
The reason you can't pick an invocation with the feat is not because you need a "non warlock" version, but because the eldritch adept feat does not currently work, it is only a placeholder, as I explained above.
Hello I understand that Eldritch Adapt is most likely still being worked on. I am playing a character that is 5 lvls in rogue, 1 lvl in fighter, and 5 lvls in warlock. in the feat it says that as long as you have the prerequisites you can take the invocation... but it is not showing any of the higher level invocations... Was trying to get ill omen invocation which only has a lvl 5 prerequisite. I have tried making the sheet to where the warlock is my first class and it still is only showing up with the basic invocations. For right now i just put it down in my notes of what i want it to be and so on. Just figured I would let you guys know that there are still some issues with it.
I had to homebrew mine. I'm a hexadin ( 4 lvl warlock, 8 lvl paladin ). I already picked my invocations as a warlock but on my 8th lvl paladin level up I want to retake the feat to grab lifedrinker but it won't let me.

That's because you don't meet the prerequisites for Lifedrinker.
The 2014 version of Lifedrinker requires you to be a level 12+ Warlock. The 2024 version requires level 9+. Either way, you're only a level 4 Warlock, so you don't meet the requirements.

Is this what you are referring to?

Eldritch Adept has been 100% functional for some time.
Anything still being worked on is listed in the first post, anything that’s been crossed off as complete gets moved to the second post.
