1000/10! As a new player and someone who’s introverted and anxious, I’m so glad I started my D&D journey with this community. Everyone I've met has gone above and beyond to answer questions, offer support, and make me feel truly welcome.
The DMs are phenomenal (special shoutout to Dao!) and bring a level of professionalism and creativity that’s hard to find. The campaign itself is absolutely incredible. From the rich storytelling and immersive worldbuilding to every single NPC. And of course, the friendships you build along the way are the real treasure.
This is the best value for money you’ll find in the D&D community. If you’re on the fence, I strongly encourage you to take the leap, the experience alone is more than worth it.
G'day from Sydney. I've been playing D&D for only 2 years playing oneshots at the local tavern, hoping to get contact or foot in the door. only recently has my interest really piqued as I began to research campaign opportunities online. I love building characters and developing their stories and how they may interact with others. *Summons Mage Hand and waves*
I’ve been a player there for over two years, and I’ve not only had great DMs, but also found such a welcoming community. I’ve met amazing people through it, and made friends I genuinely hope to keep for life.
This is Monotone, or Neomith in game. Just entered Act 3 and having tons of fun, The campaign has been awesome and alot of fun!. Meeting new players from all over the world brings a new experience I've never had before. I havent played often but the help and advice I get from my party and Jo, our DM, have been great. It has been a great ttrpg group, story, and community!
Dragonworks is my first experience with heading properly performing an Online Campaign than in person and it is the best decision I have ever made to fill that RPG-shaped hole in my heart! The staff is so friendly and communicative, easily helped figure out a Team and Timeslot that worked best for me. I have been playing the last several months under Regalia Team, there I have met so many good friends that give such great cohesion from backstories, characters, and actions. Jo is such an amazing DM! The fact can manage all of this, our crazy shenanigans/thwarts, while going above and beyond for all of us (LET ALONE HIS OTHER PARTIES TOO) is just amazing. As we have just entered ACT 3 of this campaign setting, I am just excited for what everything brings in store for us. With love to Regalia Team, Jo, and Dragonworks!

Me and my partner are in a group with Jo, and he has been an amazing dm to me and our group. He uses varied voices for different characters and keeps our character backstories in mind when crafting side quests or implementing them into mainline quests.
As a follow up to my post in August 2025... This was by far the best move I have made , my team is fantastic , my dm is exceptional and the staff at dragonworks are really second to none.
I have been playing through the Legacy of Alabaster campaign with Dragon Works Community as part of Halo Team, and it has been a fantastic experience.
The production quality of this campaign is high across the board. The maps are incredibly detailed, which really helps ground the setting during our sessions. What I appreciate most is the excellent balance between roleplay and combat; it keeps the pacing engaging and allows for deep character development alongside thrilling encounters.
A massive shout-out to our DM, who is quite excellent. They manage the table with great skill, ensuring the world feels truly immersive and the sessions remain consistently enjoyable. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the rest of the story unfolds!
My name is Jose, or Marr Padfoot, if you've been a part of Team Praetorian or Team Halo in the grand campaign.
Firstly, I'd like to say that Dragonworks has certalnly outdone themselves with the world they've created. As a player, the sheer volume and depth of writing in the characters, world, and events is astounding. There are so many layers to explore and avenues to take, which in turn, makes it easy to fabricate just about any kind of character you could think of. The tone varies wildly, but it never feels out of place. The plot never feels contrived and the wins feel earned.
Which leads me to my second point. The villains. My campaign, at the time of this writing, is only level 5 however, the villains are consistently morally ambiguous. They have righteous causes or beliefs, that you may even agree with, but they're taken to the extreme. They have thought-provoking ideals that, if gone about differently, would see them heralded as heroes. They'll act so charismatically just before performing the most reprehensible acts that feel like a gut punch, or a horrible car crash you just can't look away from. Genuinely, it's incredible writing.
Next, the players. In my experience, they are incredible. The community that partakes in this story are second to none. I understand that with paid DnD there comes the understanding of equivalent effort for what you're paying (want to get your money's worth, that whole deal). However, each player has poured so much time and care into each of their characters and has skyrocketed my enjoyment of this lovely hobby. I feel invigorated role-playing with player characters that are just as much here for the story as I am. It's a further testament to the writing that it allows such creativity.
Last but certainly not least, my DM Jo. He's a cut above, and certainly the best DM I've ever had the pleasure of playing with. His style, his flair, and his way of approaching each player character's story is engaging and exciting. His delivery of NPCs, their motivations, and the nuance he adds to each of them far exceeds my expectations. Additionally, his flexibility with the continued story of my character, Marr Padfoot, is unlike anything I've seen. I'm thankful that he put up with me talking his ear off about my aspirations and ideas for this lovely little Tabaxi. I'm incredibly grateful to have the opportunity and honor to play at his table. He's inspired me to write more characters to play and to even write my own story to someday DM. Thank you Jo, if you're reading this, for not just being a great DM but also a good friend.
Thanks again, Dragonworks. l've sald it time and time again, but l'll keep saying it. You guys really have something special here.
