The party raided the rest of the vaults, and they found many interesting items. The most notable among them is a shadowtree sapling that was being looked after by a treefolk. The party briefly conversed with the treefolk as they realized that it was a miracle this sapling was alive on the material plane at all. It was determined that in the hands of the tyrant it could become a portal to the Shadowfell itself, and the party decided to wrest the sapling from the treefolk and the tree's guards. A battle ensued and the party came out on top. They breifly investigated the light showering down upon the tree, and while it healed both Damascus and Umbreon, the mind flayer gained a new companions within his headspace. After a breif mental conversation this being was named Wendy. The party managed to successfully tunnel back to their camp outside of the city, and they now await to be debriefed by their commanders while assessing the new items they have acquired...

Tydl Umeneiros, a Southeastern Aidilian mercenary, was hired to join the party before they set out to the northeast to take down the hatchery. So far the party has been attacked by an undead troop while traversing the Shadowfell while avoiding groups of gargantuan megapedes. Session 28 Update:
Before the party made it to the arcanically charged area around the Ythryn Mythallar proper they stopped at the small town of Sidastabrun. Within the town the party gathered a little information from a bartender and a former guide about the area. The party was informed that many other individuals had went hunting for the Ythryn Mythallar, but the aracne dangers around the area had persisted. The guide informed them of many rumors and routes to the artifact, and the party decided to take the covered route of the ruined city's sewers once they got into the city. The sewers are rumored to be filled with tentacled crocodiles that have been conceived by the twisting magics of the Ythryn Mythallar. The party took off to the ruined city, and they spotted out a possible competitor who was being pulled by massive dire wolves on a sled. In the middle of the night the party managed to destroy her sled, and they successfully managed to evade capture as she chased after them with the wolves. During their rest the party was ambushed by a twisted, long-armed, many-mouthed creature that partially nullified the magics around him. The party managed to kill it with relative ease, but they also discovered that utilizing magic could cause numerous unintentional effects. One of these effects suppressed the magic items of the party, and it was revealed that Aranilius was a changeling. With this revelation the party briefly questioned him, but they did accept that he was the same individual they had known all along. Chester informed him that he could put his abilities to use to pay off the debts he owes to Chester's agency. The party woke up to encounter the same purple tiefling they had attacked the night before, and she opened a dialogue with the party with questions on why they were there. She seemed to be a warlock of some sort simply listening to the commands of a patron, but both Aranilius and Brin were offput by her. The tiefling parted with the party as things threatened to get violent, and the party now moves to make it to the ruined city and the sewers underneath it...

The party was informed that the healing druid Nonlot had been tracked down and their exact location would be given to the party soon. Essene received communication from a man named Krannick that he wanted to meet later that same day. At the meeting it was discovered that Krannick is some sort of officer within the tyrant's hierarchy. He met with Essene as the rest of the party waited outside the cave the meeting was taking place. After the long rest, Torok and Tydl noticed that a new set of guards had returned to the hatchery. The party went down the hall and down into another chamber, and it is here they found the source of the necrotic power: a portal to the negative energy plane. As the party did a quick rest in the kitchen Chester was informed that the family's matriarch, Nightshade, had been killed. Upon viewing the corpse of his mother, Chester was confronted with a simple message that appeared in the air above her body: "The Sylvan Prince's debt is paid." His attemped to question him about this, but before anything could be resolved there was a knock on the door. Chester answered the door, and a quickling informed Chester that his contract with Loki was now void. The quickling also informed Chester that some of Loki's forces would be coming back to the house to destroy it. The party quickly grappled with the fact Chester was working for Loki and prepared for battle. Chester and Snowball pulled more cards from the deck the most consequential being Mine, which made snowball extremely wealthy, and Beast, which turned Chester into a crocodile for nine days. While Gustavo was busy flirting with Orion, the house was attacked by a group of quicklings and fomorians. The party struggled a little due to being tapped for resources, but they managed to overcome the attack with the aid of Orion and Mok. During the battle both Snowball and Gustavo attempted to impress Orion, and she seemed moderately responsive to it. After the attack the party rested another day, and attempted to move on to bring the runes, Omen Orb, and Ring of Winter to Potununarstad. Chester decided to gate the party to wherever his brother Clockwork was, and the party realized they were in an icy cave in Runetan with the laughter of a certain god in their ears...

Session 56 Update:
The party stormed the lair of the mind flayers in Lefkipolis. K was able to make it past the abandoned laboratory to the bottoms of the complex, and the party has been running and fighting their way into the elder brain chamber. They have seemingly dispatched the brain, but thralls and mind flayers continue to attack, and its telepathic voice still bores into the party’s heads. The party continues the fight in the lair of the mind flayers…
Session 32 Update:
Session 29 Update:
The party rested and constructed a plan to move on the dragonnel hatchery. It was determined that the death giant and his forces would conduct some distracting strikes elsewhere to draw forces away from the hatchery, and this would allow the party to more successfully take it down. Tydl Umeneiros, a Southeastern Aidilian mercenary, was hired to join the party before they set out to the northeast to take down the hatchery. So far the party has been attacked by an undead troop while traversing the Shadowfell while avoiding groups of gargantuan megapedes. Maize was able to spot out and identify a group of magic-sensing talon beasts running towards a location. The party decided to alter their route to keep a close eye on them as they party continues to move towards the dragonnel hatchery...

Session 33 Update:
The party investigated the rest of the items they acquired from the vault. They solved the puzzle sphere by enveloping it within fire, earth, air, water, necrotic energy, and radiant light. Within the sphere a cape of enlargement, robe of stars, and a dimensional loop. Damscus inserted his memories back into his head, and he discovered his true purpose. Eve recognized the petrified individual they retrieved from the vaults as a former Feywild advisor of the last regime. The party debriefed their halfling commander on what the party had gained from the vault, and they also discussed moves going forward. It was determined that Krannick would be willing to help the party and the rebellion take down the tyrant as long as his desire to protect nature from civilization was realized. The party established a mode of communication and returned to camp. They now wait for word on the location on Nonlot...
Session 30 Update:
The party continued their way to the dragonnel hatchery. Along the way the determined the talon beasts they were following had stopped at a glowing pond, and the party decided to move on from it. They then managed to rescue a dwarf that had been attacked by witchstalkers. Upon saving him the party discovered this was a wizardly diviner. He informed the party he was here with a team to discover an extraterrestrial object that had fallen into the Shadowfell, but they had been attacked by the witchstalkers and were unable to get there. In return for their help he offered to give anyone in the party, albeit with a small sacrifice, a little glimpse into the furture. Torok discovered the names and titles of who killed his family and where he was originally from. Tsukiko learned that it was possible to be free from the influence of their ghosts, and Grinning Jack found out that the individual hunting him would find him after he spends one week in the Shadowfell. The diviner also gave the party the map to the object his party was tracking, and Tsukiko was able to determine it was the same location that the talon beasts had stopped at. The party returned to the scene and found a pool with a faded glow, and Tsukiko found some sort of flower bud at the bottom of the pool. The party rested and continued their way to the hatchery, and along the way they were attacked by a squadron of dragonnels and their riders. The dragonnels were defeated, but the commander quickly flew back to the nearby hatchery. The party now prepares to engage the guardians of the hatchery...
Session 29 Update:
On their way to the Ythryn Mythallar the party was attacked by a pack of Xakalonus. The party defeated them with the aid of Snowball, a cute, fuzzy, goblinoid Reach Ranger named Snowball. He had been sent to figure out what happened to the last ranger that was with the party, and, if that ranger was dead, help aid the party in their goals. Snowball verified that Ilga had died and joined the party as their new ranger. The party made it to the ruined city and delved into the sewers; strangely enough the sewers were still warm and filled with sewage. From underneath the sewage they party was attacked by twisted otyughs. During the battle many cascading magics began to accumulate, and Chester was eventually bestowed by a wish spell by the ambient magics. After the battle was one he used it to obtain the Deck of Many More things. Between all the members of the party 15 cards were pulled. Chester lost all of his items, but he managed to obtain a ring of spell storing and the ability to cast the gate spell 4 times. He also summoned a monstrosity that now attacks the party...

The party managed to pick up the ranger Vanja within the lair; she agreed to help the party in attacking the aberrations on account of them rescuing her. The Elder Brain Dragon was successfully bombed by the party, and after a short fight it was killed with ease. The party attempted to chase down the remaining mind flayers who were escaping within a nautiloid, but it proved too difficult. The mind flayer survivors managed to escape, but the city was rid of the aberrant incursion. The next day the party was heralded as heroes by the remaining leaders of Lefkipolis, and they were offered the support of the Magikonisi government in fighting Cthulhu. The party now begins to set down roots within the city as they look forward to the next artifact that will help them in their fight...

The party took off to hunt down Nonlot after resting up. They travelled through the mushroom forest, and some of the mushrooms within were identified and prepared for. After defeating the guardian naga that the Deck of Many Things the party continued through the sewers. A mutated cloaker was ambushed by the party, and from its lair a number of potions and some gold was gathered. In the final room before the vault complex the party did battle with with a Shadowfell Balhannoth and more mutated, tentacled creatures. After overcoming the constant invisibility they party jumped into the vault proper. Every vault door was unlocked using both time and arcane power, and they made it to the artifact. By passing the DC 30 thieves tool check they were able to trick the system keeping it in place and reduce it down to a portable mode. The party then teleported out of the location to avoid combat with the purple tiefling following the party. The party now awaits to discover where they have landed...
Session 35 Update:
The party continued their journey to Nonlot's hut, fighting a pair of megapedes along the way. Essene scouted the area and found a magical barrier around the hut itself, and he also assessed that the guards of the location included several ruin spiders, a enhanced megapede, and a faeguard. The party decided the best course of action was to burrow underneath the guards and pull them into the tunnels one by one. This plan was successful with the first few spiders, but eventually the faeguard managed to discover the party. A full-scale fight has now broken out, and the party now attempts to subdue Nonlot and the remaining guards...
Session 32 Update:
The party investigated the hatchery for anything useful. Most of the party collected some corrupted dragonnel eggs, Tsukiko found notes on how to infuse them with energy, and Maize determined how the eggs could be cleansed of their necrotic energy. Tsukiko and Grinning Jack also discovered a secret door behind the portrait of the architect of the entire immortality-producing apparatus. For some reason, only Grinning Jack had the ability to reveal the secret door, and it is within the revealed hallway the party rested while resisting the calls of whatever necrotic being powered the corrupting magic of the hatchery. After the long rest, Torok and Tydl noticed that a new set of guards had returned to the hatchery. The party went down the hall and down into another chamber, and it is here they found the source of the necrotic power: a portal to the negative energy plane. The party decided it was better to destroy the apparatus harnessing power from outside the chamber itself, and they managed to destroy the majority of it, but as they began to teleport away they got a glimpse of a nightwalker coming out of the remaining portal. The party was teleported by Maize to her home in Kosen because it was the closest location to the items they are after. The party now needs to plan their journey to obtain another piece of Sardior...
Session 31 Update:
The party teleported into a cavernous section of the elemental plane of earth. Luckily Chester was able to use another gate spell acquired from the Deck of Many Things to teleport to the home of the Destiny Gambler cloud giant. The party gave all of their magic items back to her along with the Ythryn Mythallar to her in exchange for the cloud rune as discussed beforehand. It ia at this point Chester got a message from his brother Mok to come home. Chester telported himself and the party to his home in the Feywild. He was welcomed by his goliath barbarian brother Mok and his drawkewarden aasimar sister Orion. His other brother, Clockwork, was nowhere to be found.
