Vengeance of the Maimed Mage - Sundays 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
The continent of Moorladen is known by many names: Home of the Dawn Empire, Countries of Autumn, and the Crown of Zanir are just a few. Its most famous name however is this: the Land of the Immortals. All people born on this continent are blessed with eternal youth. People grow to maturity, and they slowly stop aging. The government claims this is due to the advancements made in magic and science, and most believe them. You, however, know that there must be a deeper reason for this miracle. Rumors of dark, necromantic, practices happening in shadowed corners and isolated halls have been spread across the continent. It is up to you to investigate them.

There was also a teleportation circle with remnants of magic within it, but the party decided to not pursue that lead. The party moved on to obtaining the Heart of Sicielhana that was said to be in the tomb of the warlord Surudoi Rura. The party quickly teleported back to Limn's shoebox apartment to get some rest in Limn's hometown, and they then moved on to the tomb. The party made it to the tomb with minimal mishaps, and they quickly entered the magically obscured tomb. Maize cast daylight to help dispel the darkness. On the doorway the party noticed a challenge was contained within the tomb, and as the party entered ghostly animated armor rose to attack them. The party now battles in the dispelled darkness to overcome the challenges of Surudoi in pursuit of another shard of Sardior...

Session 33 Update:
The party made contact with the being within the Dissenters' temple. It was a runic colossus that called itself the Sentinel. It informed the party of Loki's prophesized plane, namely summoning giant elementals from the four corners of Runetan and using them to destroy the gods at the Lokishom. The Sentinel explained to the party that all of the elementals must be stopped in order to save lives and Runetan itself. It imparted upon the party a giant blessing, empowering their attacks with new effects and giving them new abilities. The party was also introduced to a new party member, a beholder cook named Pretzel who is a friend of Chester's family. The party decided they would take on the earth elemental coming form the north and the water elemental coming from the east while the sentinel did battle with the air elemental of the south and the fire elemental of the west. In order to defeat the earth elemental the party followed the advice of the Sentinel and sought help from the earth elemental's natural opposite, the Named House Tempest. The party teleported outside of their city. Snowball and Brin went into the city to make contact with the local Reach Ranger. He met with him and informed him of the impending doom, and the ranger set up a meeting for the party with the heads of House Tempest for the next day. They returned to the rest of the party and set up a camp outside of the city. As they set up camp a dwarven Solar Bastion Knight came to the party and warned them about parties hunting the Deck of Many More Things the party was currently holding. The party decided to give up the deck, albeit after Snowball drew two more cards, to the knight to avoid any further complications that could come from the deck. The party now rests before their critical meeting with the heads of House Tempest...

Session 35 Update:
The party delved deeper into the Trials in the Tomb of Surudoi. First they met the Kommons, advisors of the warlord. His trial was simple; the three headed advisor simply wanted to know what these individuals sought to do with Surudoi's Trophy. The party informed them that they sought to use its power to kill a dragon, and that the ruby atop the staff was a part of that. The Kommons then allowed the party to ask him any question they wanted. Tsukiko quizzed him on the histories of what it remembered, Grinning Jack found out his sword Hunger was actually the Sword of Kas, Torok was told his weapon would be empowered once it performed a great feat, and Maize discovered some information on her Orb of Dragonkind. The Kommons also informed the party of the impending trials, and that they would be violent. They also warned against going into the southern parts of the tomb, as they were not part of the trials. After the party was done with their questions they moved to slay the bannerman of Surudoi, and after a brief battle they now have the two amulets to access the northern gate to Surudoi Rura himself...

The party moved to their next objective, acquiring the warhammer Helm that was rumored to be nearby, but before they made it out of the great hall Gustavo was handed a note to meet in a hotel room later that day. Gustavo told the party of this, and, after some shopping, the party went to the hotel. There they met the Stormlores, relatives of their former comrade Laric. They informed the party that House Tempest, and many other houses, have had their heirs kidnapped by Loki as leverage against them. The party realized that they had briefly glimpsed the prison when Chester teleported the party to find his brother Clockwork. With the spells nondetection and mind blank and a teleportation circle scroll the party schemes to free the prisoners and free the houses to help the party. As the party rested in preparation for the raid they were attacked in their rooms by some assassins. The party now fights them off before taking off to the prison...

The party went through the portal and found themselves within the Shadowfell. The party began investigating the area for the light that fed the sapling, and eventually they came across three undead fire giants. Umbreon was able to communicate with them via telepathy, and they agreed to guide the party to a knowledgeable local if the party helped the giants hunt some fish. The party managed to kill six fishes and the undead fire giants began leading them to the next location. Before they made it to the hut the fire giants were spooked by a ghostly dragon flying overhead, and they left the party to make it to the hut themselves. The party managed to beat Surudoi Rura. They were rewareded with enhancements to their weapons and armor, and he offered to teleport them to the location of the artifact they sought. It was located in the Tap-Out Tavern in Magikonisi. Currently, it appeared its owner was some type of balding firbolg. The party entered the tavern/fighting arena and immediately noticed the alleged bearer of the staff was telling a story on a stage. The busy tavern had individuals betting on fighting, and Torok ordered the strongest alcohol at the bar. He promptly took acid damage as he overcame the poisonous effects of the liquor. The party met the firbolg and his compatriots. The firbolg's name was Yukyuk, he had a Sharkman cleric named Fruit Punch, a half-fiend human assassin named K, and an armored gnome named Steve with him. The party negotiated with the group under the influence of a zone of truth. Eventually the party settled on exchanging the staff for a promise. They would help this group kill the blue dracolich Hannath, the Dead Doom, when the time came. The party now anticipates Torok's participation in the fighting pit against a familiar face...

They appeared in an outer fortification of some sort with Moorlandic soldiers immediately questioning who they were and what they were doing there. As the party began to explain themselves a war horn was blown, and the party united with the present forces to fend off an attack by topaz dragonborn and shadar-kai soldiers backed by a few death giants. The party and the Moorlandic soldiers managed to fend them off, and the captain of the dragonnel-riding reinforcements escorted the party to the nearest town upon the party's request. Damascus managed to capture some of the topaz dragonborn who he was promised access to after they were processed. The party was informed that the river was the source of Moorladen's immortality, and they were brought to the center of town to be processed by the extensive Moorlandic bureaucracy. They met and official and began to fill out paper work while also informing the official that there had been a leak to the Lost Falls of the river of light. The official thanked them for the information, and informed them that the party would be processed. Damascus and Eve objected to having their minds read, and they will now face more extensive questioning. The party now awaits their processing by the Moorlanders in the Shadowfell...

The part managed to fend off the vampiric assassins sent after them in the night. With some discussion it was determined, due to Hunger's connection with their daggers, they were most likely agents of Kas. The party teleported to the location of the next item given by Loki, and with some mishaps, found that an order of religious sun warriors and priests were protecting it within their temple. Both Hunger and Siwong refused to enter the temple of the sun god Elljyos, and the rest of the party were healed by the pains of teleportation by the monks inside. After some back and forth and deliberation in a nearby tavern the entirety of the party, with the exception of Siwong, went back into the temple to inquire about the artifact within the order's possession. The party questioned a high priestess about the nature of the item, but they were unable to convince her to give the item to them. She was weary of the ill effects it would have on the wielder, and did not want to risk exposing that individual, and the world, to it. The party made their way back to the tavern to make up another plan. It was at this time a servant of House Songvari, a minor house symbolized by a canary as was recalled, approached the party and offered to aid them in the slaying of their dragon. The party now prepares to teleport to House Songvari to mean these potential new allies...

Session 39 Update:
The party met with the leaders of House Songvari. The party suspected a gold dragon was the one pulling the strings of the leaders, but they found no evidence of that at first. The offer was this: in exchange for a blessing to empower the party and allowing Limn to use a treasured magical artifact the party would retrieve said artifact from a black dragon and his minions. The party agreed, and they were given a temporary version of the blessing as they were teleported to Aidilan to fight this black dragon. The party managed to sneak past most of the kobold and lizardfolk soldiers, but eventually they were required to punch through the patrols. They now approach the old pirate fort the dragon has made their lair in...

The party teleported back to the seat of House Tempest. There they were able to rest, and they were able to gain information and blessings from House Tempest and the Draugr King they had saved. The Draugr King informed the party that with him freed the draugr would now be able to organize themselves against Loki as agents of Hjalm. He also gave the party protections from necrotic magics and wards against death. House Tempest gave the party their blessing also; the entire party became more resilient against the powers of the storm while also gaining the ability to wield them. The heir of House Leviathan was asked by the party to enhance their weapons and armor, and he was able to put an adamantine sheen on all of their weapons. The party then moved to House Altapeer to receive their blessing to fight the ice primordial. Unfortunately, Aranilius was identified as a changeling by the house's security. However, due to the party's renown, they were able to convince the guards to contain him in order to be brought to the leaders of the house. As the party began to approach the throne hall of the jarl they noticed a large, vulture-like bird flying outside of the tower they were walking up. As the party reached the battlement Snowball decided to take a shot at the vulture-like creature. It responded by charging him and initiating a combat...

Session 34 Update:
Tsukiko made contact with the spirit he saw surrounding Kai Korn, and convinced the spirit to requisition Kai's soul upon her death. The party raided Kai Korn's office and home. They discovered a secret room full of spell components, magic items, and money after disabling the alarms surrounding the door.

Session 34 Update:
The party met with the the heads of House Tempest. Eljor Tempest, the Jarl of House Tempest met them in his great hall with his top advisors. He denied their request for the Tempest's blessing, but thanked them for the warning of the incoming doom. He would be evacuating the city and his people to Solsail.

Session 39 Update:
The party acquired some new gear and potions and then delved into the portal of their shadetree sapling. After casting speak with plants Essene learned the tree had opened the portal in an effort to find a food source, namely the one that had been feeding it when it was in the tyrant's vault. The party now approaches the hut of this unknown local...
Session 36 Update:
On their way to the mysterious stranger in the Shadowfell the party had the reinforcement of a gunslinger named Stoney sent to them by the rebellion. With their newfound member the party defeated a pair of necrotic trees that attacked them as they attempted to cross a acidic river. The party made it to a protected hut within the forest, and both Eve and Umbreon were magically barred from entering the premises. Eve was pressured by the party to reveal that she is some sort of undead, and the members of the party within the barrier moved on to find their unwitting host. Upon knocking on the door the party met Diana. The party informed her of their goals and dilemmas, and she allowed both Umbreon and Eve in upon reassurance from the rest of the party. She gave information to the party, informing them of how shadetrees sustain themselves on the energy of souls. She even identified that the possible source of the souls that was feeding the tree, and she also offered to teleport the party there. The party happily took her up on the offer and were even allowed to rest within the protection of the hut. As the party began to rest, Diana simply came outside to shuffle a deck of cards that were identified by the party as the Deck of Many Things. Stoney deduced that this individual was the witch Tasha. Umbreon considered pulling from the deck in exchange for doing Tasha a favor, but he decided do it after the party had concluded their business in the Shadowfell. The party now rests and prepares for their journey to the river of light...

The party planned their next move after briefly questioning Zhen and having them join back with the party. The party now decided to kill the ancient shadow dragon before going after Maize's mother. After some debate on how to go about this the party decided to go after another magic item to specifically help Limn become more effective. Session 42 Update:
The party was teleported by Tasha to the river of light. They appeared in an outer fortification of some sort with Moorlandic soldiers immediately questioning who they were and what they were doing there. As the party looked up during this interaction they noticed the river of light in the sky made of pure lifeforce energy.
