As long as it drops with enough time for my players to get their characters in before our next session, I'll be happy. I can't wait to see how this works. I hope that spellcasters can look up their spell's description right from the sheet. That's probably the thing that slows down combat for our group the most. We have two wizards and a cleric, and they are always looking up spell descriptions to see if a given spell affects a single creature or multiple, or whether the damage is fire or radiant, or if it's a sphere or a cube. The universal search made that a bit easier, but I'm betting (hoping?) the new character sheet will really smooth that little wrinkle.
I keep checking as often as I can. The group I play with hasn't really paid much attention to this as they're used to their other stuff, but this is so much better from what I've seen, just not complete, yet. Cannot wait to see the next level of stuff here.
I'm using this to bring new players in. The interface is clean and doesn't provide too much information at once, which I think is a plus. A lot of vets of RPGs that have been down on this probably dont remember how daunting the game can be at first.
They've said so repeatedly. They first announced "this month" during the Stream of Annihilation in early June, and you can look up any of the moderators' recent posts to see them saying "next week," and then "this week." Inasmuch as Curse can be trusted to hit a date (and I still remember in April when they were saying "weeks, not months!") this is the date they've asked everyone to trust them on.
You know I did that at least once... forgot to flip the switch. Since the entire time I was using the new site I forgot to make sure everyone else could. :)
What bothers me is that they tried so hard to perfect it before they were due. they kept saying "this month" aka June. WELL, JUNE IS JUST ABOUT OVER, and a big majority of the playtesters are restless and even upset that it has taken this long to try this thing. >_< (myself included) depending on their timezone, they might have less than 24 hours to meet their deadline. from the way they spoke of it, and of their designs for it, it seemed fair to assume it was generally ready. if something went wrong in the process, like they were concerned it might, to the point where the deadline needs to be extended, why are they waiting until the very last minute to tell us?
from my perspective, I'm planning to play and run a new adventure with some friends, whom I finally convinced to try 5e. it would be very disappointing if I can't even flaunt the awesome character builder. as I always speak highly of D&DB to my friends. we usually use myth-weavers, which as you might know is a poor medium for 5e sheets.
We're counting on our good mates at Curse to launch when they can. If they must extend it then so be it, but I ask them please not to wait any more than absolutely necessary. the anticipation is killing everyone!

I'll go on and clear this up a bit, because you got my attention with using all capital letters.
We have targeted since announcement to release the second phase in June. We got more specific by the time May rolled around and we targeted the 28th of June.
Yesterday was the 28th. Unfortunately, due to the way software development works, we missed it by a day.
Sorry that happened! But I assure you, we are not holding on to this any longer than we need to.

I get around that by typing up my characters in a word processing file. I put the vital information for every ability, including spells and spell descriptions, in that file where it's easy for me to get to during combat and I print it out. I don't need my PHB for anything to do with my character's stats and abilities during a game and it streamlines my actions both in and out of combat.
It's not perfect because my character sheet is 6 pages long, but it's a lot shorter than the full PHB is!

Missed it by a day seems to point towards it being released...today?
Do I need to post in the bugs forum, because I still don't have access ;-)
(Not trying to be one of those guys, I am excited by phase 2, but I also know the work you guys are doing is difficult and you don't want to make a bad impression. Let me say thank you ahead of time, and that I appreciate all of you for your hard work. Thanks)

I too should apologize to you, and to Curse, despite the undying anticipation for the next phase getting on my nerves, the actual feelings behind my rage-post were, at best, misdirected. I should control myself a little better, certainly, but its been a rough night...i'm sorry if it was my post that made pressured you into thinking there was a crisis, you still have a day or so pretty much to meet the deadline, if its running late its a first world problem. Tldr I shouldnt have posted in the first place, too many things are upsetting me tonight and the waiting was no excuse to vent it out. I'm sorry.

Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.
I'm just glad to be here at the beginning of something cool.
I missed out on a lot of the testing aspects of P1, but I'm definitely going to put P2 through its paces.

Why does everyone think its going to be June 2017?
They've said so repeatedly. They have already said Phase 2 is going to be out this week.
