“There are politics at play in Lonely Wood. The Guard is under attack from subtle but still nefarious means. The Captain... needs help. But I doubt it’s enough to simply let one town know of the plight. Still, our own troubles will wait. You have strange events going on right outside your own borders. What can you tell me of the strange behavior of these stoats? They surely aren’t normal. And the otter, Loki... stranger still.”
Hurdrack shoots Blackburr a look when he made the comment about the Captaion needing "help." He looked away almost just as quickly. It was probably better not to reveal all.
Sirithal nods to Captain Durvin ‘Things are afoot. Feral stoats losing their minds, otters becoming were-hawks, perhaps. Not to mention treachery amongst the town’s guard in Lonelywood. We seek news and information - the more we know, the more directed our actions can be.’ he sighs ‘I fear the patrol will fracture if we don’t have something tangible to aim for…’
"We don't know whether our captain is still alive or not! We might send one of our companions to gather information about his wellbeing if you don't offer one of yours"- Dixie cries out with excitement. She seems completely oblivious about her surrounding, not paying attention to the drink for a moment. But when her voice sounds harsh and a little bit throaty she lets out a dry cough.
"I wonder if any one of us would like to return to Lonelywood for awhile, it will bring devastating consequences for sure"- she adds the last part of the assertion while sitting upright on her haunch. She has willingly concealed the part of information regarding the arrest warrants of two of the irregular recruits. In fact she's been slow to trust anyone else after the event of safe house, what if Captain Durvin is not at their side? She has no other way but to seek his assistance, or this could be the only option which might yield something of significance leaving a dead end.
“Pull yourself together, Dixie.” Blackbur glares at Dixie and Sirithal then before turning back to Captain Durvin. “These irregulars... they’re new. They don’t think like mice. They really can’t be sure of what they saw, or what happened. For now, we’re following orders and are happy to assist you with your troubles.”
The rabbit ranger seems discontent with the statement of the patrol guard. As a result of her displeasure, she's seen scowling at Blackbur, disliking the fact that he hadn't let her finish her words. Dixie takes a stride to situate herself closer to Blackbur and whispers,
"If Captain Trevil is alive, we'll have the right to address ourselves as the part of Mouseguard. Without him, you have two fugitives with a party of armed mercenary to lead. I'll vote for the first option".
Indeed, Dixie has been planning on taking advantage of Captain Durvin as long as he offers his cooperation willingly. Whatever happened at the Lonelywood would be soon out and spread among the inhabitants of Tourmaline as juicy news, till then the party could have reorganized to the full strength and capacity.

> Music can be heard coming from an establishment with a strange, upright shrimp on its sign.
Intrigued, Mistral investigates further, keeping a wary out to see if anyone is paying them undue attention.
