Cami reaches a hand to grab one of the things on herself before she sees the team so far focusing on the stirges. "Ah! Is that what we were doing?" In response to that, she will not try to use any of her complicated inventions. Instead, she picks up a traditional crossbow to aim the closest stirge.
The crossbow bolt flies true and skewers one of the stirges, slamming into it with enough force that it carries it across the taproom and pins it to the wall opposite Cami. It shrivels up and dies.
It is Durnan's turn!
Durnan looks to all of you. "Deal with the stirges, once the troll's dead, douse it in lamp oil and burn it!" He barks, pointing to an oil lamp on a nearby table. Then he closes in on the troll and takes four mighty swings at the troll.
"Fire, you say? Yes, that I can help with." Kassar begins to whisper a low, guttural chant. As he snaps his fingers a gout flame appears in his palm, which he hurls towards the lumbering troll.
"Wait, shouldn't you all focus the bigger threat here? This giant looks more dangerous than a few bats. Inaric, didn't you tell me about your bravery? Give me a heroic story to tell, something that would sound like this:" Vyrax puts his horn to his mouth and begins to improvise a tune that fills Inaric with bravery. Meanwhile, Vyrax also tries to inspire Topaz to do his own heroic deed, considering he's also fighting at the front.
The troll lets out a low moan and collapses to the ground in a heap. The stirges, their thirst not quite yet sated, detach themselves and fly over to Bearhug Ianric, getting ready to take a bite out of him.
Speaking of which... it is Ianric's turn!

Ianric takes a deep breathe through his nose as he draws his morningstar, feeling the magic invigorate him as he calls out "Bravery I have beyond all I could need! But I am also not dumb enough to try and present myself as a meal to such a big ass beast when it had things to distract it!" As he moved to his second sentence swinging his weapon down to hopefully crush one of the bugs to the ground with it.

Cami aims for whatever stirge is left after the group's consecutive attacks and shoots a crossbow bolt at whatever Stirge remains and is closest to her. The instructions were quite clear.
Topaz actually manages to finish off both stirges, which probably explains why Cami missed. They both fall to the ground with a thud. Silence falls over the tavern, then the patrons erupt in applause and cheers.
Durnan lets out a sigh and looks at all of you. "You fought well."He says, grabbing a lamp and pouring its oil on the troll's corpse before grabbing the attention of Yagra and Ianric. "You two, help me lift it. The lizardfolk will set it on fire, then we toss it down. Clear?"
Working in concert, the heavy corpse is lifted, set ablaze by Kassar's produce flame spell, and tossed down into Undermountain. A couple clerics in robes bearing the symbol of Tymora toss the stirges back down the hole as well as see to anyone wounded in the scuffle. Durnan nods his thanks, then heads back behind the bar, directing wait staff to straighten up the mess.
"Damn. Never a dull moment in the Portal, huh?" Yagra sighs. "What a crazy night... Think I need another drink."
Topaz takes a bow as the two stirges flop lifelessly, sheathing his daggers and smiling. First his lucking out with Yagra, then a battle that went pretty well. All on payday, too. What a day.
"None of us actually got hurt, I think. right? Yeah. That was great. Good job, guys."
Cami's crossbow shot is extremely precise. The bolt passes exactly by the spot where she last saw the stirge. Yet, because the creature was on the floor already instead of flying around, it gets nowhere near her target.
She seems a little disappointed, but after shrugging it off, she goes and tries to collect the two bolts, seeing as Durnan didn't need her help for anything. (OOC: @DM, can I just take the two back, or...? What are the rules for recovering arrows/bolts?) (EDIT based on the DM's answer:) She collects back only the bolt that hit the tavern wall. The second bolt seemed to break when the creature she hit fell to the ground.
Once she's done, she'll look back at the group of other six who helped, or at least tried. "That was... certainly something. I don't know what to make of the fact something climbed out of the well. I didn't even know that would be possible. How long of a climb was it?"
"It's not anything I could do, I promise you." Vyrax tries to peek down into the well, maybe his accustomed-to-the-dark-eyes could tell him more.
(I'm assuming Vyrax can't see anything down below. If he can, ignore the below.)
"Yeah, it is farther down than I can see - probably a hundred feet, maybe more." He walks back from the well. "If that's what I have to expect from staying by you, Inaric, I should probably learn some new melodies. I hope I won't forget others though..."
(OOC: Just making sure before bringing it up in character, is Vyrax purposefully saying INaric instead of IAnric? It isn't a big deal at all I just wanted to ask ooc before having Ianric react to something that was just a letter mix up.)
Ianric gives a self depreciating laugh after they had hurled the Troll into the depths once more, looking to the half-orc with a smirk "It would seem we both put a bit too much effort into that arm-wrestling. Oversized bugs are normally not such difficult targets to hit."
The Goliath chuckles deeply as he pats Vyrax's shoulder. "I do believe if you ever sing of this, it shall need a bit of embellishment so it is not 'the pink fool could not hit an overgrown blood sucker'. Perhaps put a bit more emphasis on the epic struggle just before with the lovely Yagra here?"
