After failing to resist the chilling fog (Con ST: 6) Frank pushes forward, unbidden. A glowing blade of pure energy begins to materialize in Perrin's grasp. *We end this beast... now...* He hears in his mind. Perrin agrees and let’s Frank materialize. Luckily for Perrin, the mist that surrounds him seems to veil the materialization. The dragon awaits the response from the group.
Zamar winces in pain (Con ST: 8) but tries not to let fear show on his face. "We did not come to invade or destroy!" he barks back, giving a glance to Woe to follow his lead. "We came to bestow gifts. We were attacked before we could have an audience. Multiple times. All we did was in defense of ourselves. Had your minions not attacked us, had we not been separated, they would all be alive right now. This cavern would still be as it was. Surely one as wise as you would not fault us from protecting ourselves from overzealous minions. Will you kill us now and cause more destruction? Or allow us to work for you, give you gifts, and rebuild?"
Dapple falls from his location as Zamar fails to keep concentration on the Fly spell. (Concentration Check: 3). Luckily it's not too high. He does remain invisible though. (Lera Con ST: 10 Concentration Check: 22 with Tides of Chaos)
Perrin looks around and sees his friends suffering from the chilling fog as well. (Singe Con ST: 8) *Strike now! Before it gets a chance to fight back!* Frank tells Perrin. “This ends here!” Perrin yells out as Frank begins to glow brighter, Perrin obviously pumping a spell (Wrathful Smite and Divine Smite) into Frank before striking out like he would a melee attack but it seems to travel to the dragon.
Perrin, not being able to see the dragon anymore do the fog. Spends his entire turn running towards where he last saw the dragon. He just barely gets out of the fog. “It’s like 20 feet until you’re out!” He yells to his compatriots.
Zamar moves as quickly as he can from the mist to a spot of cover that he had seen previously. As he picks his way over the rubble and ice, he hopes that he is not running in the same direction as his compatriots. It would be nice if the dragon couldn't dispatch them all at once.
Shanolia's body shrinks in on itself as the cold temperature becomes unbearable (Con Save = 4/11 Damage) and she quickly decides to turn to her right and dash out of the fog, taking cover behind a bit of rubble and surveying her surroundings. Hopefully, everyone didn't run the same way.
Startled as the magic holding him aloft suddenly fails, Dapple still manages to land on his feet, no worse for the fall. He hears Perrin yell out and the time for negotiation has apparently ended. Thraul in hand, he fumbles in a pouch for the tools to light it before putting on a burst of speed and racing towards the dragon. Just as he gets ten feet from the dragon, its full attention goes towards the feline. It's odd, as she tracks him as he nears with the Thraul. Can she smell it? he wonders as he realizes he's lost his chance with the drug. He leaps paste her snout and tries to get the smoke into her face, but is easily avoided by the wily creature.
He lands and quickly darts back out of the way before she can attack him, seeking shelter behind whatever looks promising, hopefully with some protection from any retaliatory frost breath.
The freezing mist bites at Koll's exposed skin, but he grits his teeth and resists the cold from seeping deeper (Con save 10+3=13/5 damage). He hears Perrin's voice saying that it is only 20 feet out of the blinding cloud and he moves as quickly as he can over the treacherous, icy ground. As the mist clears, he sees the angry white dragon in front of him. He throws the iron ball that Singe gave him and yells out the command word, "Grobbenbend!" The ball flies apart as it arcs toward the dragon, transforming into a web of of strong iron bands. They strike the dragon dead on, wrapping around its body, tightening and restraining it. (attack 19+5=24) As the dragon thrashes about wildly against the bands, Koll hopes they are strong enough to hold it.
Woe tries to orient herself with the shouts she hears from her team. She stays just a little to long in the dense fog and feels the cold enwrapping her (11 damage). I need to get out of here...
She turns right and also dashes over the rubble (30ft) and hides behind a big block of ice. Now she can see the dragon - held tightly by the iron bands.
Woe mumbles to herself: "I hope those bands hold her down for a while, once she breaks free she'll raise hell..."
Thankful for the ring her... girlfriend? They hadn't really talked about it, but the aasimar really liked her and- focus Lera. She ran out of the fog cloud's radius, banishing any thoughts of Vera from her mind for the time being. Lera blasted a chaos bolt at the dragon, drawing on the wild magic that fueled her. The bolt went wide, and the sorcerer felt a familiar sucking sensation as she was
Singe stops. The dragon is far enough away that it can't harm him, he could stay where he is. The frozen fog cloud could freeze him to death, but getting closer to the dragon is certainly suicide. Everyone else having run by him, Singe steps backwards out of the fog cloud.

With a roar, the Dragon thrashes about as it's caught in the irons bands that were hurled at it. Trying with all its might, it's unable to break through the magical bands to free itself. "Release me!!" It demands. The mist begins to clear from the previous area as it starts to coalesce around her. The freezing mist blocks all view of the dragon, but causes the insides of all within to freeze with each inhalation (Con Save from Koll, Dapple, and Perrin).
Perrin, too focused on the dragon to shrug off the cold takes the full Damage, chargers towards the dragon and attempts to stab her through the fog but he miscalculated the distance and misses her.
Koll once again resists the freezing mist, though it stings his skin (con save 11+3=14/dmg4) . And though he can't see, the dragon is nevertheless restrained in front of him. He moves in and strikes at it with a flurry of blows. His quarterstaff strikes against the metal of the iron bands, but he connects against the soft scales of the dragon's belly with his enlarged fists. "You're only chance now is to surrender, dragon!" he yells.
From behind the ice boulder where he'd taken shelter, Dapple watches as Koll lobs the steel sphere at the dragon and the bands imprison her. As the fog coalesces around her thrashing form, he considers the bow on his back and the magic arrows he carries, but pushes the thought aside as both Perrin and Koll race towards the dragon to attack it while it's trapped. The fog expands outwards, surrounding him as well, and Dapple can feel the air freezing his lungs with every breath he takes (Failed save: 8 vs DC10). Taking a last, painful breath, the tabaxi too moves in, eager to finish the flight if they can.
He tightens his grip on the hilt of his rapier and runs, using all his senses to find his way to the dragon, then thrusts outwards as he feels he is within striking range. The blade bites deep into the dragon's scales as the slender steel finds it's way between the metal bands. (TO Hit: 20 Damage: 8) Then, chest burning from lack of air, he runs back away from the dragon, trying to get back out of the freezing fog surrounding her.
Seeing no other option, Zamar decides to do the same as Shanolia. He lowers his crossbow and fires. The obscuring mist causes the bolt to sail wide.
Zamar sees Dapple coming out of the mist and calls out, “Tabaxi hunter/Using his agility/graceful and deadly” He imbues the haiku with energy, inspiring the Ranger.
(Corssbow attack - 7 to hit, Third d6 of inspiration to Dapple.)
Seeing another cloud of mist beginning to form around the dragon, Shanolia shrugs her crossbow from her back and fires a bolt at the restrained creature. Unfortunately, the bolt bounces harmlessly off of the iron bands. With a curse, she reloads the crossbow and prepares to take another shot.

Woe sees that her support magic is useless right now while the dragon is actually restrained.
So she uses the only ranged weapon she has on her - her darts. After many years of practice in bars when she was waiting for her turn while other musicians performed, she could throw a dart to perfection. The few seconds it took for the dragon to move that mist onto her was enough for Woe to memorise her position.
She then threw that dart perfectly between the dragons eyes.
While in the Astral Plane, Lera sees a thread that spirals down towards her father. It's very faint, but it's there. After a moment Lera realizes it must belong to the thraul he carries. A mist surrounds Dapple in the same way, but it doesn't look attached to him at all. As for Lera herself, her hand is glowing something fierce and a voice reaches into the back of her mind. She can't make out what it's saying. The words are cryptic and sound more like sounds than any coherent language. The tone is unnerving and sends shivers down her spine.
Before she could decipher what the sounds meant, Lera found herself back in the Prime Material Plane once more.
Singe hurls three rays of fire at the fog cloud surrounding the dragon. Only after the second one does the dragon respond with a grunt, but the effect seems minimal.

Being restrained by the magic bands and pummeled from all around her, the dragon decides it's time to strike back. The misty cold thickens and Dapple, Koll, and Perrin all feel the liquid in their bodies solidify as it freezes. Perrin is left standing, frozen, with the light of Frank slowly dissipating (16 damage to all three, Perrin unconscious). It turns its frenzy first on the giant Koll. Reaching its neck out to bite at the giant, it fails to find his flesh. But one claw comes free from the bands and slashes across his chest drawing three long lines of blood. The wounds are enough for the cold mist to enter his body and he too freezes in place (Bite 15 to hit, miss. Claw 23 to hit, 15 damage, Koll unconscious). The dragon roars again, shaking the cavern in its fury. Ice begins to fall from the ceiling again, crashing to the ground in random locations. "RELEASE ME OR YOUR FRIENDS ARE DEAD!!" She screams as she pulls Perrin's frozen body closer to her own.
Hearing the dragon's demands, Zamar decides it's now or never. He runs over to Shanolia, lighting the Thraul as he goes. He calls out to Shanolia, "Shanolia, our elf in the mask You have an important task Deliver this gift And give us a lift That this fight may not be our last"
He adds some of his magic into the limerick, though he has little left, hoping it will be enough. As he reaches her, he hands her the smoking Thraul and says, simply, "You know what to do."
