"It is a pretty sword....if you are in to those kinds of things...." Myth will say "it does indeed sound like a very noble cause, and given who he is, we have no reason to not believe his story. However, last I checked, noble causes and pretty swords don't keep a roof over our heads, food in our bellies, or ale in our tankards." the last comment being directed to the two dwarves.
"Aye, good point, good point! But, I would be remiss if I was not doing everything I could to help the goodly folk of the Dale. We were promised land, which could be useful for future enterprises. I am sure there is some coin to be made along the way. I vote aye, we help this large bloke find what needs finding, and help those who need helping." Hjol takes a long swig of his ale and realizes that he is now down another mug. His thirst today was heavy. Moradin be praised, this was a good brew.
"Also, undead. A horde of them. No, I will take this man up on his call for adventure and save this man, if I can. You can stay here and debate it or you can come with me. Me mind is made up. Please, let us join again and go forth together." Hjol's mind WAS made up. It's not like he wanted to do this alone. He knew Guldrum would join him, but these new faces he hoped to call good friends one day...well, he wasn't so sure about them just yet. They could handle themselves in a fight, but were they willing to face undead monsters to save a goodly life, and Dagger Falls?

"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

Having hearing it was just a pretty sword with a common enchantment, not the fabled sword of legend, Vohana frowned and returned to the scrolls and notes. She knew she needed as much knowledge, as much power as she could possibly find in order to finish her mission. She was so absorbed in her work, that she didn't notice the discussion around her.
"Im in if we can keep what we find. Myth is right about needing money for the finer things" He will raise a quizzical eyebrow to Lhao. "I want to afford a boat someday and handouts won't help."

(OOG: If he says no I continue immediately, if he says yes I'll continue while arm wrestling)
"I live for battle!" Guldrum says loudly as he pounds his fist on the table "May Clangeddin bless us along the way, Mond you'll always have my axe to count on! Who's with us?" He asked with a fierce look about him.
Guldrum liked this group on the last undertaking, hoping they would join him for this glory. Having the honor of fighting amongst a "clan" again would mean the world to him.

Lhao returns to the table after allowing you time to discuss. When he is informed that you will be taking on the quest he smiles, seems to visibly relax, and then offers a few last words of advice:
"I would strongly recommend that you travel the Northride to where it joins the Tethyamar trail. This path is frequented by traders and other businessmen, and the patrols keep this route relatively free of monsters and other undesirables. That doesn't mean you are immune to danger, however. As the old saying goes, 'a wary traveler sees the light of a new day'" he then polishes off the last of his ale as if toasting to seeing the light of a new day.
"Hopefully, both the Sword of the Dales and Randal Morn are still within the tomb. It is imperative that you get to Randal before the Zhents regroup and go after him in force. "
Lhao then begins rummaging in his satchel for a moment, then carefully pulls three vials from the bag and sets them on the table. "These are Potions of Healing. They should aid you in times of great need. One dose can restore a common person near death to full strength."
Lhaeo's hand disappears once again into his bag and pulls out a bone scroll case. He places the case alongside the vials. "This contains a map of the area, as well as the location of Shraevyn's tomb. By Ariton's reports, a landslide uncovered the crypt in a valley known as the Giant's Craw. You should have little problem finding it. I'm always looking for books and other references, and I'm afraid our library is lacking in materials about Shraevyn. I'd gladly pay you a fair price for any books, scrolls, or notes that you find. If you do not have horses, I will provide adequate mounts. I will also see to it that you are fully provisioned with all necessities for your journey. Speed is of the essence in this matter, the longer we wait, the greater the risk of further Zhent involvement. You may each pick up a land grant at Elminster's tower after you successfully rescue Randal Morn."
Vohana takes notes while Lhao gives instructions. "Ugh, horses," she says in disgust. Picking up the bone scroll case, she leaves the potions behind, and places the case among her collection of books and scrolls. "Lhao, instead of a plot of land for myself," she says, almost looking embarrassed. "Might I have something else instead? Such as more knowledge. I've been searching for... something, and need a little knowledge in the matter. I'd gladly give up a land deed to find what I'm trying to discover."
Vohana nods, knowing she just gave up something that anyone at this table might want more than life. But it was worth it to her. "Then I'm in. Shall we write something up that says I forfeit the land deed in exchange for information?" She lifts her quill and allows it to hover over a piece of blank parchment.
Lhao nods, "That's a fine idea, however I feel like we might be keeping Jhaele from supper and a warm bed. I will draw up the document this evening, if you want to stop by Eliminster's tower in the morning I will have your mounts readied as well as the contract." Lhao stands from the table and finishes the last of his ale. "Jhaele has several rooms open here if you need them, the common rooms are 2 silver, if you need it." He then reaches one last time into his satchel and pulls out a fine sheet of paper. He whispers a few words to the paper and then places it on the table in front of Vohana. "This is an enchanted sheet of paper, something of my own devising, write down whatever goods you see yourself needing for the journey and I will have them ready in the morning as well"
