Nilvén moves near the place where Cerlinde is searching for something in the remains of the trees and shrubs, her face exposing an emotion of concern while she ponders about something. Do I remember any magical tradition or spell that might influence the trees to be awakened?

Cyrasil approaches the now dead trees, kneels on one knee, grasps a talisman hanging on his neck with one hand, closes his eyes, and silently mumbles a short prayer in elvish. When he is done, he inspects the "corpses" looking for any sign of the source of their corruption.
Ollezall slumps down to sit gripping his side. Ollezall is trying to mask it, but he is feeling dizzy and on the cusp of unconsciousness. " Could we find a place to rest? I need to bandage myself, and I'm sure we all need to recover a little before carrying on. Cerlinde, how close are we to our destination on your map? If we run into another trap or group of kobolds I'm afraid I won't be much help with healing. I've only got enough 'juice' for one more healing or powerful magic rite if we run into danger"

While you break for a short rest Cerlinde, Nilvén and Cyrasil go over what each has learned from their investigation. One thing is obvious to you is that powerful magics were involved, but awakening trees and shrubs just to have them wander around attacking whatever moves makes no sense. You do remember hearing of a forest in Haven where magic runs out of control and consider the possibility that these plants may have awakened there. Without knowing more you realize that this may be normal for these woods.
Ollezall remembers Modesty saying something about packing a couple of Healer's kits with the supplies.

7 Ollezall winces as he applies a salve to his skin. Ollezall takes the healers kits out of the supplies and makes them known to the party. " If I go down in a fight, you can use these to stabilise one of the Party without any skill in medicine."
"also while we are here, we never got a chance to split that 310 gp and 2 gems from earlier , what with the kobolds, the kid, and the psycho trees. Anybody know what those gems are?"
"Also, tonight I think the interested parties in the archery bracers should play dragon dice to determine who gets them, and we will take that off the gold share from before. Sound fair?"
Nilvén doesn't seem interested in splitting treasures among party members, even the idea of playing Dragon Dice doesn't trigger her curiosity. She's still regretting the fact that she had missed a deadly fight against the Awakened Trees where her fighting skills could have played vital role. Brin has been knocked unconscious then stabilized, and the 'Bright Boy' here is grimacing as if he's in excruciating pain.
"When we're marching ahead, stay within the range where I can reach you. And no, the Kobolds were pretending to be dumb and they're successful to fool me."
Zhou offers to protect the Aasimar after observing his life-threatening conditions and waits for a response.
Brin settles in for the brief rest, glad for a bit of downtime to catch his breath. He listens to the others go over what they have figured out from the investigations they made. "Well, seems like we best keep an eye out for such things, like them trees, but doesn't seem like we be knowing much more at this point."
Once the rest is over he hitches up his pack and nods to the others. "Be ye ready to keep moving?"

I only just remembered the loot today . 1st level healers are still pretty weak on spells, that's why I want to get my hands on some gold so I can add a few potions to the arsenal. I'd have to brush up on the crafting guide. I think it's 25gp to craft and it takes a long rest?
