"Here you are as Henna gives her some coins i guess I'll go look for my friends and once again thank you for the bread do you mind pointing me to the nearest tavern I'd figured they might be there" (Out game question what is the equivalent to 1 silver and 6 copper? All I have is gold)
I give her a nod, grab my drink, slide some money towards her and go up on stage to perform.
I am assuming there is no one else performing?
No, you walk up onto a small dais where a few patrons glance up at you.
great.
I pull out my fiddle and start to play a haunting melody as i cast thaumaturgy on the torches making them a ghostly blue color. I sing in primordial. It is a strange and mysterious song about a spirit who haunts old shipwrecks on the shore.
(the song is really a lullaby translated into primordial and played with minor chords...)

Pie Jesu Domine! *smack* Dona Eis Requiem! *smack*
The goliath scoops the coinage into his giant palm and disappears again. The halfling gives you directions to Vin's Chalice and says "I do hope you enjoy, please do come again."
Though the song is simple the patrons are none the wiser as more and more heads perk up. The rhythm weaves throughout the room and people begin swaying to the somber beats. You can tell most people here don't speak primordial, but that doesn't stop them from getting lost. Eventually some patrons get up and place some bronze coins in a wooden tankard that stands on the dais, conveniently labeled "Tips."
As you near the penultimate chords you glance at the tankard, flowing with bronze pieces with bits of silver berried within. A few of the tavern's staff stop what their doing to listen to the ending.
As Jade's song ends, Kerry places 4 bronze pieces into the tip-tankard (lingering to speak with Jade). "That was an excellent performance! Primordial right?"
As you scoop in the coin you count 6 silver and 2 bronze. You find what looks like a gold piece at first but its just a golden piece of torn parchment.

"Exactly! How perceptive of you! it's always nice to meet another speaker. were you taught it? or is it a first language of yours?"
as i say this i am shoveling the money into my satchel only sort of making eye contact
"I dabble. I'm working on fluency, but I enjoyed the song nonetheless."
