if an opening becomes available please let me know
me 49 years old started playing in Greyhawk (pre-AD&D if you didnt believe the age :)) but havent really played since 2e. available most nights for posts etc as i work overnights 3-4+ days a week controlling wind turbines
i have 1 character generated 1st level eldarin Ranger (can change race to fit) jaded *lost scout from a raiding force that was wiped out by enemies unknown
I'm 51, so I've seen Greyhawk, but never owned the materials, haha, I started with AD&D and didn't play again (some may not count this) until NWN was released on PC many, many years later, I believe that was 3E rules. I looked at 3.5E rules and even got the books but had difficulty locating time and local in-person groups. I founded a Call of Cthulhu gaming group (GM'in, playing NPCs, and as a player too - rotating GM's) and authored modules for NWN and TES III.
I work in cybersecurity and am in the US, Central Time Zone.
I am new to this format (PbP) and this version of the rules, so I kept characters very simple and basic, currently just working with two:
Intro for myself - I am 34 years old and live in Florida. Started playing sometime around 1998/2000 with version 3.5 but took a hiatus and recently rejoined the D&D community about six months ago. I work in timber management/real estate so my schedule fluctuates a lot. I am generally available throughout the day and evening but it depends on if/when I need to show some property.
Intro for my character - He is a level (insert whichever level needs to be here to match the current campaign) Wood Elf Bard. As a child he wandered off from the village constantly. He ventured too far one day and was captured by slavers. He was sold to a family that owned a tavern and put to hard labor. His only escape, the tales he could overhear when bards would share their stores. He vowed to escape and find his family. He is now looking for them.
Favorite movie - Star Wars (series)/Die Hard (series)/LOTR. Online I am currently catching up Critical Role's first season.
Hi all i am a little older i have been playing since the late 70s with the original version/ almost all of mine on pencil and paper/ i have been in 3.5 and newer test groups. if you have a spot and need/want another player / i will fill a void in the party / like dm i have a busy schedule but can make time for this / currently dm a pencil/paper 5e, in a run on ddb just started, and in a long run of 3yrs with a mix of all versions/ just drop me aline of whats in party and ill see what might need or tell me what you would like to see
I would also like to join should an opening become available.
I am 19 years old and live in Portugal. I started playing D&D a few years ago(3 or 4, I'm not sure) with some friends from my school. We've kept playing ever since, mostly 5e or homebrews. I'm looking for a game that can be played without time constraints and decided to give pbp a try. I am studying in the Navy and as I have to sleep here in the base it's a little difficult to play with my D&D group except on weekends so I'm trying this as a way to still have some D&D during the week.
My character is a Rock Gnome Warlock . He's at level 3 but if the campaign needs him to be another level just tell me. Since he was a child he has been haunted by a darkness that follows him no matter where he goes. It was because of this darkness that he became a warlock but not even his newfound powers could get rid of his problem. He is chaotic good with an inclination for trickery(as it helps in distracting him) and doesn't back down in the face of evil.

Hello! I would be interested in joining if you need another player
I am 16 and live in Australia. I'm pretty new to D&D but have done my fair share of research of 5e and am pretty confident in my abilities to play. I go to school and should have time in the afternoons and weekends to play.
My character is a Wood Elf Druid, level 1. In human years she is around the age of an 11/12-year-old (can change if wished) and decided to leave home early in search of an adventure.
Favourite movie currently: Murder on the Orient Express
Favourite podcast: Critical Role (I like the live streams better though)
The thing just erased my entire post! Sigh... ok, here's the short and sweet version:
I'm chill, I think. I mean, I'm intense about roleplay, but I don't get upset when things don't go my way in content. In fact, I generally do not expect things to go my way IC. I'm a homemaker from Texas, and I'm fairly new to 5E. I'm not sure what all you want to know about me. I can play 36 different musical instruments well enough to jam (not enough for professional music, just for goofing around) and I can speak 5 languages and am literate in 2. I play a lot of D&D with my family and on PbP as a DM, but mostly 3.5. I tried 4E and was not impressed. But 5E seems like they took the best features from 3 and 4 and made a better thing. I'm excited, and I'm trying to get more experience in the edition so I can DM some campaigns again.
About my character: Sgt. Shautha, half orc, female barbarian Lawful Good. Essentially she's Da Chief, but as a fantasy adventurer. She's good fun to play. Not terribly optimized, but I don't see how that's a problem.
Posting Availability: Daily.
My Favorite Movie: The Princess Bride My Favorite Podcast(s): I'm pretty sure they no longer exist, so I just replay the same old downloads. Metal Injection, Music Nerve, and Roy's Old Time Bluegrass Review My Favorite YouTube Channels: You didn't ask, but it's what I'm more into than podcasts. ASAP Science, Epic LLoyd, Zack Scherwin
I would be interested in a PBP game and could post daily. ( easily around 2 - 5 times a day. ) I'm an illustrator and work a full time job in the medical field as a behavior Councilor.
My character is a level 1 Elf Rogue named Miki.
I don't know any podcasts to have a favorite, and movie wise I think the original Ghost in the Shell is my favorite.
I am also interested, but it looks like there is a crowd waiting to join the party. Should the over flow transition to a new thread?
I am eager to join a small group of seasoned adventures (read, older...). I have been playing for a long time, although I have taken long breaks from the game to start a family and a business. I basically want to polish up my skills so I can be a good DM for high school age players, but I feel like I have a long way to go before I could run a game as well as some of the great DMs I’ve played under.
I am in to well roll-played, basic character types, with lots of exploring and interacting with NPCs. Well orchestrated combat can be very satisfying as well, but I’m happy to look for ways around monsters, unless they are guarding the treasure I am after... Recently, I have been experimenting with back stories for Forest Gnomes, Rock Gnomes and Humans, and I have a handful of characters ready to go.
I am an avid player of D&D, I want to play more, but can't commit to a weekly game with summer coming. I think a pbp would be great. I love role play and interparty role play.
My character is a tiefling druid with a criminal background. He had wanted to steal from a noble house, but was caught, he fled and lived in the forest where he started to learn how to become on e with the forest when a druid circle brought him in.
I am always available, especially for just a single post a day.
My favorite podcast is probably critical role as I don't listen to many. My favourite movie is a tie between deadpool and Ender's game

1 - Half-orc fighter, haunted soul.
2 - Dwarven cleric, acolyte, life domain.
Both are level 1 at this time.
I would like to play if you are still recruiting.
