Just as Krodhen hits the ground, something else in the room begins to react. (Krodhen takes 4 bludgeoning damage.)
Seemingly drawn out by essence of the brown-good that serves as the slug's blood, two shadowy beings emerge from within the huge tentacled statue in the chamber and join the fight.
Hun astutely comes to the conclusion that the creature clinging to the walls is likely several degrees less intelligent than his own construct. As for those shadows, take your pick. They can't even speak or comprehend languages!

(Yulmiath and Rhogal can take their turns. Krodhen has a pending opportunity attack. Kairus, needs to roll a DEATH saving throw. Yulmiath can re-attempt the CON saving throw at the end of his turn.)

Actually, no, Kairus did not fall to the trick of the mind the slug unleashed on him. His reaction was faster - (Cutting Words for 1 against slug's attack. Even with 1 he is off the hook).
Rhogal and Krodhen both react to the slug creature moving back up the wall. The half-orc swiftly swipes it with his flail, but the dwarf's attention is called to one of the shadows entering the fight as he imbues mycotic growth onto some pebbles. Only one of the Snackers is accurate enough this time. (Giant Slug takes 9 magical bludgeoning damage.)
Having no preference for which living thing to attack first, each shadow moves toward the closest target.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hun may not have seen the attacker coming for him, but his armor is there for a reason. Kairus is not as lucky as ever, reacting just in time to avoid taking a considerable hit and seeing his muscles diminish in size in real time (reference, reference). (Kairus takes 12 necrotic damage and his STR score is reduced to 10.)
The shades float about for another second, before retreating into the shadows and blending in.
Shadow#1: 10 (20)
Shadow#2: 23 (25)
-> If your passive perception score is equal or higher to the shadows' stealth check, then you can assume you can see them in your turn. IF you can see them, pop open the spoilers below:
Shadow#1:
Shadow#1 retreated to {KC-101}
Shadow#2:
Shadow#2 retreated to {KC-103}
-> They hid after moving, so Hun can take an opportunity attack against Shadow#1. Kairus has already used his reaction.
Still focused on the slug, Krodhen decides to not give airborne chase to the creature but to keep track of it nonetheless. The javelin throw that follows benefits from the enhanced pain the spell causes. (Giant Slug takes 9 piercing damage.)
Kairus tried to defend himself! There was not much he could do against the mighty shadows, but dodging was his life! Or "spelling something off" - that worked too. This time he tested his luck:
Silvery Barbs on the shadow that hit him with Advantage transferred to Yulmiath.
Should luck fail him, though, he would be forced to resolve to drastic measures - healing himself with the refreshing sound of the cittern Cure Wounds for 9

Reaction(Hun): AoO Vs retreating Shadow. (Melee, Lethal)Returning Yklwa - Attack: 11 Damage: 12 of magical piercing.
"Oh not this crap again! Back I say! Back you shadowy devil!"Hun shouted as he took a propulsion boosted swipe of the spear the retreating shadow. "Yea, you better run! Frick'in-..."He trails off into some grumbling as he hoped forward onto a tentacle if need be, and with not the greatest balance or position in the world, pointed his spare up at the slug and barked out, "Open Wide, Fat Boy! And be A-Maized by these kernels of truth!"It's with that and a press of some button on the haft that the spear head once again slid away revealing the somewhat hollowed interior of the spear again.
But instead of foam or vials flying out, instead out comes a fountain of green corn kernels! Although they hadn't hit with much real force, those unfortunate to be embedded with them would feel flesh and stone begin slowly melting away as their caustic coating! As for Mrs. Thinn, another sharp command from Hun that follows sees her clamoring just that little bit further and out from under the creature, before trying pull and ultimately shove it off the wall and onto the ground. In the wake of which, she'd more than happily spring off the wall and onto the slug.
Movement(Hun): To KD-101.
Action(Hun): Cast Hun's Horrible Hominy at Slug Boy. Any Creature within the 30ft line must make a Dex Save(DC 14) or be covered in acidic maize kernels, taking 2d4 Acid Damage at the start of their turn.
Movement(Hun-remaining): To KD-103(climbing atop the tentacles if need be).
Bonus Action(Hun): Command Mrs. Thinn to dislodge the slug from the wall.
Movement(Mrs. Thinn): 5ft Up the wall and out from directly under Slug.
Action(Mrs. Thinn): Attempt to knock Slug Boy off wall with a22.
Movement(Mrs. Thinn-Remaining): If shove attempt successful, climbing back down until within 5ft of creature again.
OR(if Mrs. Thinn can drop down on to the slug and split the fall damage by landing on it, then she'd climb as high as she can before dropping down on it)
Future Reaction(Mrs. Thinn): Unless enemy moves away first, using Deflect Attack from 1st attack made by Slug Boy while within 5ft.
Future Reaction(Hun): If Hun would be hit with a 18 thru 22 from shadow, using Shield.

All inevitably works out, and Kairus remains safe for now. Choosing not to cling to life by just a thread, the bard then heals himself a bit. (Kairus recovers 9 HP.)
Hun had just attempted but failed to hit a retreating shadow. As the kobold moves to cast his next spell and then keeps moving, his zig-zagging triggers an [Tooltip Not Found] shadow. The creature's location is discovered once it attacks {KC-101}:
(OOC: The "Tooltip Not Found" in the previous post was supposed to say "...opportunity attack from a hidden...")
Hun's new spell in pinpoint accurate! The green kernels cling to the slug and fail to accidentally hit any of the kobold's companions. Although it takes a few second for them to do their damage, Hun is sure the slimy creature will feel pain soon enough. The artificer then tries to add insult to injury by commanding Mrs. Thinn to dislodge the big enemy from the wall, but it seems its ability to adhere to surfaces just about puts it beyond the construct's abilities, at least for now.
Hun then climbs over a couple of the Kraken statue's tentacles to put some distance between him and the slug but, inadvertently, puts himself in harm's way anyhow. Thankfully, the hiding shadow's attack is met with another quick reaction by a Snacker. Hun avoids the surprise hit.
Next, the giant slug retaliates against its many foes while dissolving caustically (damage roll: 6). Head-tentacles swing at Krodhen, a toothy maw descends on Mrs. Thinn, and the still floating image of Umberlee tries to whack Kairus again.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Fighting through the pain, the giant slug still manages to hit two of their three targets. (Giant Slug takes 6 acid damage.)
Krodhen feels the slime of the creature's tentacles make contact with his cheek, but the substance fails to penetrate his blood vessels or deal any real damage. (Krodhen takes 5 poison damage; reference.)
Some of Mrs. Thinn metal casing gives way to the enemy's strong jaw. (Mrs. Thinn takes 7 piercing damage.)
Near the other end of the chamber, Kairus continues dogging all that is throw at him. This time, he doesn't even have to use magic! (What a performance by the bard! 👍)
Rhogal lets go of his concentration of the spores and changes tactics.
He takes out a trumpet mushroom and throws it in the direction of the slug monster. Once it lands, a whirlwind of spores erupts from it and starts spiraling around it.

Yulmiath can finally feel some tingling in his muscles again. He should be able to join the fight soon. (As of the end of his turn, Yulmiath is not longer poisoned, paralyzed, and incapacitated.)
Rhogal sees what Mrs. Thinn tried to do and decides to pull on that thread. Switching spells, the druid summons a spore-inspired dust devil and hopes it affects the giant slug in the next few seconds. Before that can happen...
The two shadows lunge forward, one at Hun and one at Kairus from its hidden position.
