"So where can we find this Butt?"Wolfe asks curiously.
Carp giggles as you say it, Wolfe. "Well, probably at his farm. Err, well his mother's farm. She's Qelline Adderleaf, got a big farm on the east side of town, past the Townsmaster's house."
"I hope he gave his parents hell for that name..." Wolfe says and chuckles. "... but perhaps we should go and see this Butt about that manor. He might have some useful information, like if there is some secret entrance somewhere for instance."
Mau smirks slightly at Wolfes comments on the rabbit while sitting down with the rest of the group.
“A secret entrance would definitely help, possibly allow us to get the jump on the redbrands this time by now I’m sure they will be aware of the outcome of the ambush.”
"Now now I think we should plan our assault..they are quite the opponents as we all saw...trained in the art of combat..we all agree a direct attack might not be the best option..not now they are prepared..but what if we lure them into a trap..? "
"A plan sounds good Krull, but I would prefer some more intelligence for that. Perhaps talk to this Butt first and we'll know more about the manor."Wolfe suggests. "Are we ready to move on?" He asks. (Assuming we've had a short rest now)
Wolfe nods and smiles, gets up and follows Rabbit, motioning for the others come along. "I think the farm should be close, let's just hope this man with his unfortunate name is there."
Okay you all take a short rest and depart for the Adderleaf farm. Along the way you pass the Woodworker and the Townmaster's Residence before coming to a tobacco farm. You note that the farm is tidy and neat, as far as farms go, and currently a couple of small humanoids are working in the fields - a female and a younger male, by the looks of it. They haven't noticed you yet.
Before you get too close, a whistle grabs your attention, coming from your left. Sitting, nearly hidden, is a small humanoid figure on a wooden chair, boots up, peeling an apple.
"Who're you?"she asks, popping some apple into her mouth.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wolfe goes a bit closer. "I'm Wolfe, these are my friends, we're looking for Butt, have you seen him around?" He asks politely. Persuasion if needed, helped by a smile from the charming Rabbit I'm sure: 17
Edryd, as has become his custom, stays quiet and listens to the others. He seems abit confused at the snickering regarding the one called Butt but holds his questions back. He follows along as they head to the farm choosing to walk with Mau.
As they walk through the farm he says to anyone listening, "I love farms quiet peaceful beautiful views of the sky at night. Maybe I will sleep here tonight?" Thinking about the friend he made the night before he tries to get Wolfe's attention. "Wolfe. I met a man last night, a strong man named Daran. He has no love for the Redbrands. He might have some more information or be willing to lend us some help. We should speak with him as well before we make our move against this evil."

The halfling snorts and kicks her feet down. "Work?! Ha! If you can call it that. That's my boy. More likely to get in trouble than do an honest day's work. I'm Qelline Adderleaf and you're new in town. Sildar says you got some skill at adventuring. If the boy took something from you, do let me know. He's been known to "borrow" things from time to time." She shakes her head.
She points to the small figure in the fields, moving slowly, tending to the tobacco plants. "He's all yours. And say, I might have a bit of a proposition for you, if you're looking for some extra coin. Maybe come and see me after you speak to the boy - well, actually, err, is it serious? What did he do? Why do you want to speak with him?"
"We're hoping he can help us out with some information on that manor you have here." Wolfe says with a bow, ready to move on. "We'll be sure to come back about that proposition as soon as we have dealt with these Redbrands." He adds, then making his way to the small figure on the tobacco field.
"Excuse me sir, we were wondering if you would be kind enough to help us out with some information about the manor." Wolfe says as he reaches him. Persuasion: 18 if needed (Not bothering Rabbit with this anymore :-)

You don't need to bother with rolling at all unless necessary :)
Butt is a small halfling, you'd guess he'd be about 10 years old or so, so he perks up a bit when you address him as "sir."
When you mention the manor, he looks around nervously - at you, at your companions, at the giant barbarian behind you. "Oh, crap - Carp probably told you huh? What a dumb loudmouth!" He looks at you more carefully. "Hmm, you're not one of them, are you? No, I'd recognize real adventurers anywhere! You all look so cool! Anyways, the manor? Oh, yeah. So there I was stalking some creatures in the forest over there - I'm something of an adventurer myself you know - when I hear something coming oujt of this thicket. I hid and waited and saw a couple really ugly, big, and hairy bandits come out and talk to a some Redbrands. I think those Redbrands might have some secret lair in that tunnel." He coughs and pulls up his breaches a little, "Yeah well I was going to check it all out, maybe kill a couple of them you know, but it was getting late, and I don't see too well in the dark. But next time I'm around that area..."
"You're very brave good sir."Wolfe says politely to the boy. "And yes, we are indeed real adventurers, heading for that manor in fact. We would very much appreciate if you could show us that secret tunnel in the woods." He says with a wide smile. "I think your mother would be proud of you for helping us."

"Farm first, then develop our plan from there?" Rabbit says. She pushes her chair back from the table and hops up. "Let's go."

Rabbit reluctantly helps Wolfe as he speaks with the small woman sitting on the chair. "Yea, heard he works here at the farm."

"Sure Edryd, good idea, we should come prepared when we face this Glasstaff." Wolfe says and nods to the eccentric cleric.
