All - Before the end of the first game of Baldur's Bones, a haunting disembodied voice suddenly begins to sing in elven. The singing isn't loud enough to disrupt conversations, but most of the patrons have stopped talking to listen to the song.
Any who can speak Elvish will understand the following lyrics:
O sing a song of Elturel
Of water, woods, and hill
The sun dawns on her ruddy cliffs
And fields green and still.
This land of long-abiding joy
Home of the strong and brave
Renowned by all, across the realms,
And never once a slave.
O sing a song of Elturel
When foes are at her door
Her fields torn by cloven feet
From some infernal shore.
Arise the mighty Hellriders
Take up your swift, keen swords
Then charge into the hellish fray
And scatter devil hordes.
O sing a song of Elturel
And when the night does fall
Sleep safe beneath Companion’s light
Until the dawn does call.
We’re bound by mortal covenant
That only ends with death
And so we’ll sing of Elturel
Until our final breath.
Tarina raises an eyebrow after the singing stops and says, "Strange. I've been comin' 'ere a long time and that's the first time I 'eard it sing that song. Usually sings the same melancholy tune lamentin' a lover lost at sea."
Rah'zher has been drinking and chatting with the others at the bar while the rest of the Fists went upstairs. As he notices the whole lot of them have dispersed, he considers, "Best not to sail alone in unfamiliar waters." he thinks, recalling his father's words. As he heads up the stairs to catch up with the others, he draws the rusty dagger his old man gave him when he was but a kit. Seems so long ago, now. Seeing some of his fellow fists playing at duce, he goes to fi d a seat, and notices quickly another dagger flitting about a table. Watching for a moment, he notices the elf's movements beat a rhythm influenced by Samuel's song.
Approaching the table, he finds a seat, with a grin he greets the pair, "I know this music." and lays his left palm on the table.
Rah'zher - You watch the two pass the dagger and rum back and forth until the Half-Orc suddenly burries the blade into his ring finger. With a grunt, he pulls it free and takes another swig from the bottle of rum before wiping his mouth and standing up from the table. He wanders over to watch the arm wrestling, leaving a spot open across from the Elven woman. She nods and smiles as you take a seat across from her, "What'll it be friend? One gold piece? Two?" She rubs two gold coins between her thumb and fingers, waiting for your reply. When you've made your wager, the woman will start.
Five-Finger-Filet. Each player takes a swig of rum, then stabs a dagger between their fingers back and forth twice before handing both to the other player. Each player goes until they hit any part of their fingers or hand.

As the blade pierces his finger, Rah'zher lers out a painful howl. "The light in here is terrible. Fella'd do well to have some sorta 'dark-vision' to play scissorhands in this pub."
Rah'zher - You manage one time through when the burning in your mouth and throat cause you to suddenly sputter and cough, throwing off your aim and causing you to bury the dagger just below the first knuckle of your index finger. The woman smiles and gives you a slow clap before grabbing the coins, "Keep the bottle mate, you look like you're going to need it."
Samuel - A successful DC 20 History check will reveal the following:
The "Companion” referred to in the song is the name given to the artificial sun that burns over Elturel, protecting the city and its surrounding lands against undead. Also, the Hellriders were so-named long ago when they descended into the Nine Hells on horseback to fight devils. Most of them never returned.
You may translate it for the others if you'd like and anyone who makes a successful History check may share their knowledge with the rest.

Remi & All - Tarina grins and reveals her total of 15. She gathers the coin as eight motley humans saunter into the room. The leader is a brawny man with a cloudy right eye, a cruel sneer, and a pirate’s swagger. The others are an unsavory, rowdy bunch who act as if they own the place. “We’re looking for an old friend of ours,” says the dead-eyed man. He sniffs the air. “Goes by the name ‘Tarina,’ or so I’m told. Loves to cheat at Baldur’s Bones.” Tarina looks to any of the party still at the table and says, "About that 'elp I mentioned..."
